Weekly Rankings: Week 11 Value Meter

Weekly Rankings: Week 11 Value Meter

This article is part of our Weekly Rankings series.

Sunday Update complete

Bye Week: Giants, Packers, Seahawks, Titans

Welcome to the Weekly Value Meter Rankings. This is a guide to help you decide who to start and sit in a given week. It's is not a season-long ranking nor a draft guide, and it's also not really intended as a free agent guide. While I appreciate that you want my opinion on pickups, every league is different, and your decision on whether to add/drop a particular player might also be dictated by other factors than who is rated higher in a given week.

Here are my operating assumptions for the rankings:

- The RB/WR/TE position rankings are for PPR leagues.
- The Flex rankings are for Standard leagues.
- 1 point per 10 rushing/receiving yards.
- 1 point per 20 passing yards.
- 4 points per passing touchdowns.

These are the rankings I use when I make my start/sit decisions. Please consult the rankings first before asking "Should I start Patrick Mahomes or Eli Manning?"

These are my particular rankings. If you want a second opinion elsewhere on the site, you can see our Weekly Projections.

Starting after Week 1, the rankings for the subsequent week will first post on Tuesday nights, roughly around 10:00 pm ET. I will then do a set of updates before kickoff on Thursday, and again before kickoff on Sunday morning.

I welcome debate on the rankings in the comments. Please keep it friendly.

Quarterbacks

2.Lamar Jackson BAL vs. HOU
3.Drew Brees NO at TB
4.Dak Prescott DAL at DET
5.Deshaun Watson HOU at BAL
6.Philip Rivers LAC vs. KC
7.Tom Brady NE at PHI
8.*Jameis Winston TB vs. NO
Note: Winston likely will face a Saints defense that won't have Marshon Lattimore.
9.Derek Carr OAK vs. CIN
10.*Jimmy Garoppolo SF vs. ARI
Note: Struggled Monday night against the Seahawks, mostly because of WR drops and because of pressure from the SEA DL.
11.Kyle Allen CAR vs. ATL
12.Josh Allen BUF at MIA
13.*Matt Ryan ATL at CAR
Note: Returned to practice Thursday after sitting out Wednesday to rest his ankle. ***Removed from the injury list on Friday.***
14.Kyler Murray ARZ at SF
15.Kirk Cousins MIN vs. DEN
16.*Jacoby Brissett IND vs. JAX
Note: (Knee) Will likely return this week if he can participate in a full practice Wednesday. I'm ranking him accordingly over Hoyer, who was terrible against Miami last week. Full practice Wednesday, presumably will start according to coach Frank Reich. ***Confirmed as the starter.***
17.*Jared Goff LA vs. CHI
Note: Disastrous game against the Steelers, made worse by the loss of center Brian Allen.
18.Sam Darnold NYJ at WAS

Note: Matthew Stafford's status for this week remains uncertain, but for now I'm ranking Driskel as if he's starting again. ***Officially starting against the Cowboys.***
28.*Dwayne Haskins WAS vs. NYJ
Note: Named the starter for the rest of the season, with Case Keenum as the backup over Colt McCoy, though Keenum remains in the concussion protocol.
29.*Matthew Stafford DET vs. DAL

38.*LeSean McCoy KC at LAC
Note: Healthy scratch against the Titans for 'maintenance' - or because of a lost fumble against the Packers two weeks ago.

1.Justin Tucker BAL vs. HOU
2.*Harrison Butker KC at LAC
Note: Nailed four field goal attempts, but a potential fifth turned elusive - first by a snap/hold miscue, and then on the next attempt when his 53-yard attempt was blocked. Now gets to kick in the thin air of Mexico City.

Note: In this case the moveable object should triumph over the resistible force that is Ryan Finley.
