2024 Fantasy Outlook
McLaughlin has kicked in games for seven different teams since entering the league in 2019, including full seasons as the starting placekicker for Cleveland (2021), Indianapolis (2022) and Tampa Bay (2023). Last season marked his most accurate performance yet, with McLaughlin making 29 of 31 field goals (including seven of eight from 50-plus yards) and each of his 33 PATs. He's now 24 of 29 (82.8 percent) from 50-plus yards for his career, which would be more impressive if not for his 60 percent rate in the 40-49 range. In any case, he's missed just two PATs and one field goal inside of 40 yards, making for a solid track record overall. McLaughlin should at least be useful as a streamer in favorable matchups, attached to a Bucs offense that was solid-but-unspectacular last season and returns most of the same key pieces. Limited to PATs in win
McLaughlin did not attempt any field goals and connected on all four extra-point tries during the Buccaneers' 28-13 win over the Raiders on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
The veteran kicker failed to log a single field-goal attempt for the first time all season and only the fourth time during his 32 combined regular-season and postseason appearances with the Buccaneers. McLaughlin did boost his accuracy on PATs to 95.0 percent with his quartet of makes in as many tries Sunday, setting a new career high with 38 extra points in the process. McLaughlin could be busier on the field-goal front in a Week 15 road matchup against the Chargers, considering Los Angeles' typically stingy defense and the fact the Bolts have allowed a league-low 41.9 percent red-zone touchdown success rate.

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2023
2021
2020
McLaughlin had a strong 2022 for the Colts in real-life terms, missing only one kick inside 40 yards (including PATs) while making 9 of 11 from 40-49 yards and 9 of 12 from 50-plus. The problem for fantasy purposes was a glaring lack of PAT volume, with McLaughlin getting only 21 in 16 games as the Colts struggled mightily on offense. He'll be attached to a better offensive line and WR group in Tampa Bay, but the QB issues that dragged him down last season could once again be an issue with Baker Mayfield and Kyle Trask competing for the starting job. There's also the matter of McLaughlin converting only 78.8 percent of FGAs for his career, but for now he's the only kicker on the roster of the Bucs, who parted ways with Ryan Succop this offseason.

Wins starting job
McLaughlin appears set to be the Buccaneers' kicker in 2023 after Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports the team waived Rodrigo Blankenship.
ANALYSIS
Both kickers saw action for Indianapolis last season, but McLaughlin won that battle and went on to kick 30 field goals in 16 games for the Colts, and now he's won this one, too. The Bucs could always bring in further competition before Week 1, but assuming McLaughlin's job is secure, he'll be supporting an offense with unsettled situations at quarterback and running back but that still features the talented duo of Mike Evans and Chris Godwin at wide receiver.
