2024 Fantasy Outlook
Crowder made his way back to his original NFL home last year, linking up with the Commanders after three seasons with the Jets and one year in Buffalo. He mostly got work on punt returns, taking 35 for 278 yards, though there was also a 7-95-1 receiving outburst Week 8 against Philadelphia when No. 3 receiver Curtis Samuel was injured. Crowder otherwise had only 64 receiving yards all season, and he now enters his age-31 campaign looking at special teams as the most likely path to a roster spot in Washington. Read Past Outlooks
RANKS
Active versus Tampa Bay
Crowder (hamstring) is listed as active for Sunday night's wild-card round game against the Buccaneers.
ANALYSIS
After being limited at practice this past week, Crowder headed into the Commanders' postseason opener listed as questionable. With his active status confirmed, Crowder will bolster the team's depth at wideout and provide a punt return option. However, apart from a 2/15/2 receiving line in Week 16 versus Philadelphia, Crowder's fantasy impact has been modest. Overall, the 31-year-old has recorded nine catches for 72 yards and two TDs on 13 targets in six games.

Crowder was never able to get things going in Buffalo last year, tallying just six catches (on 13 targets) for 60 yards across three-plus contests before suffering a season-ending ankle injury Week 4. The veteran wideout signed with the Giants in the offseason, but he's not a lock to make the team's 53-man roster. What New York's receiver room lacks in big names, it makes up for in depth, particularly in the slot, making Crowder's skill set somewhat redundant. It could help Crowder's case that he has experience as a kick returner, and that both Sterling Shepard and Wan'Dale Robinson are coming off ACL tears that make their statuses for Week 1 uncertain.

More snaps on tap for Week 17
Crowder is slated to serve as Washington's' No. 3 wideout behind Terry McLaurin and Olamide Zaccheaus for Sunday's game against Atlanta due to Dyami Brown being ruled out with a hamstring injury.
ANALYSIS
Crowder missed 10 games while on injured reserve due to a calf injury, but he has played in the Commanders' last two games and has supplanted rookie third-round pick Luke McCaffrey on the wide receiver depth chart. Crowder is coming off a two-touchdown performance against the Eagles in Week 16 and will serve as a reliable red-zone target for Jayden McDaniels on Sunday.
