Rest-of-Season Projections
2024 Fantasy Outlook
Reynolds signed with the Broncos in free agency. If Tim Patrick is unable to return to form after missing the last two seasons with injuries and rookie Troy Franklin isn’t ready to take on a major role, Reynolds could earn a starting outside receiver role. Reynolds had the second 600-yard season of his career and tied his career high of five touchdowns in 2023. However, the receiver was much better early in the season. During the first seven games, Reynolds posted at least 43 yards six times. The veteran fell off down the stretch. Even ifReynolds holds onto a starting role, he is unlikely to perform better in Denver than he did in Detroit, where the offense was much better. Read Past Outlooks

Returns to practice
Reynolds (hand) returned to practice Wednesday as a full participant, Parker Gabriel of The Denver Post reports.
ANALYSIS
The Broncos placed Reynolds on injured reserve Oct. 12 due to a fractured finger. He then suffered minor injuries in a shooting a week later, but that doesn't seem to have affected his return timeline, with the Broncos having designated him for an IR return when first eligible. Denver now has a 21-day window in which Reynolds can practice with the team without being placed on the active roster. He may be activated before Sunday's game against the Falcons, in which case he would be a threat to take snaps away from Lil'Jordan Humphrey, Troy Franklin and Devaughn Vele.

Detroit had an opportunity to save a few million against the salary cap by letting Reynolds walk this offseason, but the Lions instead let DJ Chark leave and only replaced him with the 33-year-old Marvin Jones. Then, Jameson Williams was hit with a six-game suspension to start the year without Detroit using any significant draft capital to restock the position, and Reynolds suddenly is positioned to be a key part of the offense to begin the 2023 campaign. Whether he maintains that standing throughout the year will depend on Jones' durability and Williams' ability to integrate himself into the offense post-ban.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Latching on with Broncos
The deal Reynolds inked with the Broncos on Wednesday is worth up to $14 million over two years, per Adam Schefter of ESPN.
ANALYSIS
The veteran wide receiver heads into a situation where he should have his fair share of opportunity, considering Denver traded away Jerry Jeudy to the Browns earlier this offseason. Marvin Mims and Tim Patrick are also on hand behind clear-cut No. 1 option Courtland Sutton, but there are experience and durability issues associated with the duo that could help open a path to a solid role for Reynolds.
