31-Year-Old Wide ReceiverWR
Buffalo Bills
2024 Fantasy Outlook
It's probably fair to label Hollins as a journeyman at this point, now that he's approaching his age-31 season on his fifth NFL team. Since joining the league in 2017, the 6-4, 221-pounder hasn't logged a ton of production overall, but when you look a bit deeper, he's only had one season with significant target volume, and when he got it he delivered. Hollins' 94 targets (more than triple the number he's had in any other season) in 2022 with the Raiders yielded 57 receptions for 690 yards and four touchdowns. The Bills have completely overhauled their receiving corps this year, so it's possible that Hollins, who caught 18 passes in 13 games with the Falcons in 2023, could carve out a steadier role in his latest locale. Hollins recorded four receptions on six targets for 57 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 44-42 loss to the Rams.
ANALYSIS
Hollins matched his season high with six targets and had one of his more productive performances. His primary contribution came on a 21-yard touchdown reception midway through the fourth quarter, though he also chipped in 16- and 12-yard receptions, both of which came on touchdown drives. Hollins has earned inconsistent targets in the Buffalo offense throughout the season, and that has remained the case even with Keon Coleman (wrist) and Dalton Kincaid (knee) sidelined.

Hollins took advantage of injuries in Las Vegas' receiving corps last year, securing 57 of 94 targets for 690 yards and four touchdowns. After the career year, the 6-4 wideout joined Atlanta this offseason, where he'll presumably take over as the No. 2 behind Drake London with Olamide Zaccheaus off to Philadelphia. Despite a 7-10 record, Atlanta ran way more than it passed in 2022, and things aren't expected to change with Desmond Ridder at the helm. While Hollins will be the second WR, he'll likely be the third option, at best, in the passing attack behind London and TE Kyle Pitts.
Hollins caught only 14 passes for 223 yards on 28 targets in 17 games with the Dolphins last season, but he averaged 15.9 yards per reception and found the end zone four times. After signing with the Raiders this offseason, the 6-4, 221-pound receiver will compete with Keelan Cole for the No. 3 wide receiver role behind 2021 Pro Bowlers Davante Adams and Hunter Renfrow.
Hollins is just one among a number of depth wideouts with a fair case for depth reps in Miami, so he'll need to distinguish himself from the crowd somehow. It's possible that Hollins' special-teams acumen could give him a leg up.
Hollins didn't accomplish much in four games with the Dolphins in 2019, failing to bring in his only target, but he had previously posted ten catches for 125 yards across 12 appearances in Philadelphia. At this point,he 26-year-old looks most suited to special-teams and reserve work, but in the wake of Albert Wilson and Allen Hurns both having opted out, there could be room for him to make a small impact in the Dolphins' receiving corps.
Hollins enters his second season in a similar situation to that in which he found himself his rookie year: fourth on the depth chart. Alshon Jeffery and Nelson Agholor are returning, and Mike Wallace will presumably replace Torrey Smith. However, the Eagles are high on Hollins and even hired his college position coach to continue their work together with the team in Philadelphia. While the former Tar Heel saw targets in only one of 2017's first five games, the 6-4 receiver was developing quite a rapport with Carson Wentz prior to the latter's season-ending knee injury, as Wentz targeted Hollins at least once in each of his last seven games prior to hitting injured reserve. If Wentz makes a speedy recovery and Hollins impresses in the preseason like he did in 2017, the 24-year-old could be poised to surprise many this year.
Hollins should slot in as the Eagles' fourth wide receiver, at least, simply because of his special teams ability. In the event he sees some offensive snaps, he presents a potential big-play threat, as he stands 6-4, weighs 221 pounds, averaged more than 20 yards per reception at North Carolina, and ran a 4.53 40 at the Combine. In the event of an injury to one of the starters at the position and further lackluster production from Nelson Agholor, Hollins could easily become a consideration in the fantasy realm in 2017 -- especially since Jordan Matthews was shipped off to the Bills in the preseason.

Bigger role for Week 10
WRBuffalo Bills
November 9, 2024
With Keon Coleman ruled out for Sunday's game against Indianapolis due to a wrist injury and Amari Cooper listed as questionable for the same issue, Hollins could serve as Buffalo's de facto No. 2 wideout behind Khalil Shakir, Alec White of the Bills' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Hollins is coming off his most productive outing of the regular season, when he caught all five of his targets for 30 yards and a touchdown in the Bills' Week 9 win over the Dolphins. Cooper was sidelined during that contest and Coleman had just one catch on two targets for 21 yards, so Hollins has demonstrated that he can serve as a reliable target for quarterback Josh Allen along with Shakir and second-year tight end Dalton Kincaid.
