Weekly Pitcher Rankings: Justin-credible

Weekly Pitcher Rankings: Justin-credible

This article is part of our Weekly Pitcher Rankings series.

In a season where every ace has either been bit by injury or hit a speed bump, the elder statesman, Justin Verlander, keeps rolling along. He's given up no more than one run in seven of his 10 starts, eight of the quality variety.

In general, this lays out to be an average week in terms of the number of two-start options. However, there aren't many likely available in mixed leagues with more than a dozen teams so it may be a good week to plan ahead with FAAB bids since the following week will have some double-dippers with almost every team in action Memorial Day.

Weather doesn't look to be as big of an issue this weekend as it's been the last few. However, there are several hurlers expected to return from injury, but not yet official so be sure to come back Sunday night after the weekend reports help firm up rotations plans.

For the week of May 20-26.
