Weekly Pitcher Rankings: Giants Steps

Weekly Pitcher Rankings: Giants Steps

This article is part of our Weekly Pitcher Rankings series.

The first full week of the second half (I know, we're technically past the halfway point) features mostly back-end starters with the two-step, though a few aces sneak in as they were afforded extra rest. The week's top-ranked arm is an example as Kevin Gausman makes his post-break debut against the Dodgers, though that could also be in part for strategic reasons.

We're less than two weeks away from the July 30 MLB trade deadline, so keep that in mind when counting up starts for the week since you may fall short if one of your guys are dealt to a contender.

Please keep in mind I pull the probable pitchers from the site's Projected Starters Grid. As such, while I am always happy to address rankings question here, please direct scheduling questions there.
