I finished the 12-team, $1700 buy-in NFFC Primetime draft a few minutes ago, and it was fun, but a bit grueling as I got sniped a few times and gambled and lost that players would fall to me in subsequent rounds. All things considered, I'm happy with this team, but I'll have some tough lineup decisions with my wide receivers, barring some early breakouts. I picked sixth.

1.6 Alvin Kamara -- I was hoping for Clyde Edwards-Helaire, considered taking Michael Thomas, Joe Mixon or Dalvin Cook, assuming my top five backs were gone, but opted for Kamara once Thomas went fourth and CEH went fifth. Kamara was my No. 3 player before the epidural in his back and contract holdout, so I was happy with him at six, but I also resigned to get his backup, Latavius Murray, early than I would like -- in the eighth. And FWIW, had Kamara been gone, I would have taken Thomas over the backs.
2.7 Nick Chubb -- One of the reasons I was resigned to taking Thomas if it came to that in Rd 1 was that Chubb had been falling to that spot in Rd 2 during recent drafts, meaning I wouldn't be stuck going zero RB like I did in BCL 1. In fact, both Chubb and Aaron Jones were available, and it was a tough call, but I took Chubb who in my opinion has the higher floor.
3.7 Jonathan Taylor -- Both he and George Kittle (and Lamar Jackson) were there, but I swung for the fences on a game-changing running back. We'll see how many carries he gets early on.
4.6 DK Metcalf -- It was a coin flip between him and DJ Chark. I went Metcalf because he has the better QB, and I have Chark in another league, but I love both.
5.7 Mark Andrews -- It was him or teammate Marquise Brown. I really needed a receiver, but Andrews is capable of being the TE1, and I didn't want to pass that up.
6.6 Dak Prescott -- This was a gamble, as I really really needed another WR, but Prescott is in such a good situation this year for a six-point-passing-TD league, I preferred him over CeeDee Lamb or Jarvis Landry.
7.7 Deebo Samuel -- I missed Lamb by one pick, so I pivoted to an injured receiver who could be ready in Week 1. We'll see what version of Samuel I get, but I wanted a game changer, and he could be one if healthy.
8.6 Latavius Murray -- This pick cost me Preston Williams and Anthony Miller, two solid target sources I badly needed, but with Kamara still at risk, I didn't want to play games with securing Murray who went off last year when Kamara was out.
9.7 Darius Slayton -- The buzz this summer in Giants camp is about Sterling Shepard, but he's been hurt a lot, and Slayton is the better, more explosive player and should improve in Year 2.
10.6 Mecole Hardman -- I can't use him early on, but if anything happens to Tyreek Hill or even Sammy Watkins, Hardman could be a difference maker.
11.7 Jalen Reagor -- Another receiver I can't use right away, but as with Hardman the ceiling is high. The NFFC has a 10-man bench, so you can hold onto players easily through bye weeks.
12.6 Laviska Shenault -- Ostensibly the Jaguars' No. 2 receiver and drawing raves in camp. He also might see some carries out of the backfield.
13.7 Darrell Henderson -- He's iffy for Week 1, but I felt he slipped too far and has a shot to start if and when he gets healthy.
14.6 N'Keal Harry -- This was a gamble I lost. I preferred Van Jefferson, but thought it was more likely Jefferson would come back to me. Harry is another pedigreed Year 2 receiver that could take a leap.
15.7 Justin Tucker -- This was an easy call for me with no must-have receivers left.
16.6 Baker Mayfield -- I needed a backup QB, and Mayfield was the best on the board.
17.7 Andy Isabella -- The Cardinals will run a lot of three and four wide sets, and the former second round pick is in Year 2 and having a solid camp.
18.6 Eagles Defense -- They play the Football Team in Week 1.
19.7 O.J. Howard -- I almost forgot to get a second TE. Howard is a monster and having a great camp. His competition, Rob Gronkowski, is hardly a paragon of durability.
20.6 Broncos Defense -- Year 2 of a Vic Fangio defense could be good.
