Opening Night in the NBA arrives this week, so it's officially crunch time for fantasy basketball players. Now is your final chance to prepare for 2022-23 fantasy basketball drafts. Read on to find RotoWire's fantasy basketball projections.

The rankings below are engineered for eight-category, roto leagues, but they can operate as a general guide for most fantasy basketball formats.

Nikola Jokic is our No. 1 overall player in virtually any scoring format. The two-time reigning MVP has been the best fantasy producer over the past two seasons. He's the favorite to go No. 1 in most drafts – regardless of settings – again this fall. Jokic is followed by Giannis Antetokounmpo, Luka Doncic, Jayson Tatum and Joel Embiid.
