Closer Watch
Mets - Bobby Parnell got his first save of the season Saturday against the Twins, but gave up a run in the process. Parnell struck out the first batter he saw, then gave up two doubles that resulted in the run. He was then able to get Justin Morneau to fly out, and end the game with another strikeout. If Parnell is only able to one save every 11 games, the amount of games the Mets have played so far, he would only have 15 in the season.
Braves - Craig Kimbrel earned a save for the second game in a row Saturday against the Nationals on only ten pitches. He bested Fridays performance when it took him 12 pitches to finish off the Braves division rivals. One would imagine that if the Braves are up by three or less Sunday, Kimbrel will be called upon again for the save.

Ervin Santana, P, KC -- Who has the most strikeouts out of all of the Sunday's starting pitchers? Well it's not Jake Peavy, May Latos, Roy Halladay, Tim Lincecum, or Brandon Morrow. With 15 strikeouts over 14 innings pitched, Santana happens to be that guy. Maybe it has something to do with the change of scenery, but Santana has shown that he is still capable of being a quality starting pitcher, and is owned in less than one out of every five leagues. Unless your team is already stacked at starting pitching Santana is worth a spot start in just about every format, as he also dominates the Blue Jays who are a combined 19-for-102 against him.
