This was the all-out brawl that everyone expected and it was Hardy that cracked first. Simply put, Hardy doesn't have the experience or skill set to be fighting the best heavyweights in the world. His power and explosiveness is obvious, but it only comes in short spurts. His cardio has proven to be shockingly poor considering his past NFL experience. Hardy has to win via knockout and has to do it quickly or else he is finished. It's nearly impossible to envision a scenario in which the soon-to-be 33-year-old Hardy is able to improve his game enough to consistently compete at this level. He's 4-3 (1NC) in eight UFC bouts and the wins have come against Maurice Greene, Yorgan De Castro, Juan Adams, and Dmitry Smoliakov.
