Date for return to octagon secured
Aguilera (undisclosed) will square off against Carlston Harris on the UFC's May 8 card, MMAJunkie.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Aguilera suffered his first UFC loss at the hands of Sean Brady in his last bout and was handled with relative ease. After pulling out of a fight in January for an undisclosed reason he'll aim for a much better showing against a newcomer in his UFC debut in Harris, who joins the promotion sporting a 15-4-0 professional record. Harris most recently fought under the Abu Dhabi Warriors Fighting Championship banner.

Pulls out of upcoming fight
Aguilera withdrew from his scheduled fight against Warlley Alves for undisclosed reasons Monday, Marcel Dorff of MMADNA.nl reports.

The matchup was originally set to take place on Jan. 16. Alves will no longer fight on that date but will face Mounir Lazzez four days later. It's unclear when Aguilera will next step into the Octagon.

Looking to bounce back
Aguilera will take on Warlley Alves in a welterweight bout at the UFC event Jan. 16, MMAFighting.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Aguilera will be hoping to bounce back after falling to Sean Brady back in late August. Prior to that, Aguilera defeated Anthony Ivy in his UFC debut via TKO. Alves on the other hand will be making his first appearance in the Octagon in over year.

Suffers first UFC defeat
Aguilera lost to Sean Brady via submission (rear-naked choke) at 1:47 of Round 2 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
Fighting for the second time in just over two months, Aguilera was unable to replicate the success of his 59-second knockout victory over Anthony Ivy in June. Brady presents much stiffer competition than Ivy, and Aguilera struggled with the physicality of his undefeated opponent. What little offense Aguilera was able to generate was the result of counter strikes on the feet. The 28-year-old California native didn't enter the UFC with much of a pedigree, so it is imperative that he rebounds his next time out.

Next fight already set
Aguilera will face Sean Brady in a welterweight matchup at an event August 29 in Las Vegas, MMAFighting.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Aguilera is coming off a 59-second TKO June 13 against Anthony Ivy, making for a successful debut and bringing his overall winning streak to three. Brady has won both of his UFC fights so far, taking unanimous decisions from Ismail Naurdiev and Court McGee. Brady stands an inch taller, while both men register a 72-inch reach. Aguilera is the younger fighter by just under a year.
