Matched up with Moises
Riddell will fight Thiago Moises at UFC Vegas 87 on March 16, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Riddell showed plenty of promise with a fast 4-0 start to his UFC career; however, three straight disappointing losses since then has made him tough to judge. He'll give up two inches of height and an inch of reach versus Moises, who has dealt with his own consistency issues.

Dominated in second straight fight
Riddell lost to Renato Moicano via submission (Rear-naked choke) at 3:30 of Round 1 at UFC 281 in New York.
ANALYSIS
It's been all downhill for Riddell since suffering his first career loss to Rafael Fiziev in December, as "Quake" hasn't made it out of the first round in either of his last two fights, being disposed of quickly by Jalin Turner and now Moicano. It's as though Riddell is surprised that he can be hurt, as he seems to just shut down in the face of significant offense. Throw in the fact that he didn't attempt to defend the choke, and it's difficult to determine where Riddell goes next after such a promising start in the organization. He falls to 10-4-0 in professional MMA as a result of the loss.

Fighting Renato Moicano at UFC 281
Riddell is set to take on Renato Moicano in a lightweight showdown at UFC 281, on Nov. 12, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Riddell will look to bounce back, following his Round 1 submission to Jalin Turner at UFC 276. The 30-year-old fighter out of New Zealand has been defeated in his last two fights, and the road won't get any easier when he takes on an experienced opponent in Renato Moicano.

Taps in 45 seconds at UFC 276
Riddell lost to Jalin Turner via submission (guillotine choke) at 0:45 of Round 1 at UFC 276 on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
What a disaster. Gifted an opportunity to compete in the featured prelim fight on ABC, Riddell lasted all of 45 seconds. He got clipped with a right hand and was forced to push forward for a takedown out of necessity, and that allowed Turner to grab his neck and clamp on the guillotine that ended the fight. Riddell had little pedigree upon debuting in the UFC in October 2019, but still managed to win his first four fights with the company, all via decision. The competition level has risen lately, and Riddell has lost two straight since in the span of seven months, both via stoppage. The 30-year-old will find himself in must-win territory his next time out.
