Past Fantasy Outlooks
2023
2022
Knight spent most of 2022 on the Jets' practice squad until injuries paved the way for the undrafted rookie out of North Carolina State to debut in Week 12. The man known as "Bam" came in with a bang, topping 100 scrimmage yards in each of his first two NFL appearances before adding 77 scrimmage yards and a touchdown in his third game. Knight ran out of gas after that, mustering just 70 rushing yards on 39 carries over his final four games. New York hopes to have starter Breece Hall back from ACL surgery by Week 1, signed Dalvin Cook in August and drafted running back Israel Abanikanda in the fifth round to go with 2021 fourth-round pick Michael Carter, so Knight could be relegated back to the practice squad unless the Jets opt to roster five running backs.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Might get claimed off waivers
Knight was the subject of trade discussions prior to being waived by the Jets on Monday, suggesting he could be claimed by another team, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
ANALYSIS
The second-year running back had a few big games last season for New York as an undrafted rookie after injuries thrust him into a significant role, but his effectiveness declined quickly, and he was squeezed off the roster by the signing of Dalvin Cook. Knight could offer an upgrade as a backup for a team with less depth, but a return to the practice squad, which is where he started the 2022 season, also remains a possibility.
