Gets look from Chicago
Jones (shoulder) worked out for the Bears on Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
ANALYSIS
Jones reached an injury settlement with the Cardinals in August after he injured his shoulder in the team's final preseason game. His workout with Chicago suggests the 26-year-old is healthy and looking to find a new opportunity. With Travis Homer (finger) now on IR, the Bears are on the hunt for running back depth and also brought in Jake Funk and Anthony McFarland for workouts as well.

After playing in both New Orleans and Seattle in 2022, the Broncos signed Jones to a one-year deal this offseason. The 25-year-old played in six games last season, rushing just 10 times for 24 yards and reeling in five catches for 30 yards. Jones will be reunited with Denver's new head coach Sean Payton, who he played under while both were with the Saints. The 5-11, 224-pounder slots in as a depth option in the running back room behind both Javonte Williams and Samaje Perine, but Jones' familiarity with the offensive system should help him to carve out a third-string role with his new team. Jones was cut by the Broncos at the end of training camp and signed to the Saints practice squad.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Could have big role Week 14
Jones could have an expanded role in Week 14 against the Panthers with Kenneth Walker missing practice Wednesday due to the ankle strain he suffered Sunday against the Rams, Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times reports.
ANALYSIS
Jones stepped into an early-down role against the Rams after Walker exited in the second quarter, posting 14 rushing yards on seven carries but gaining just two first downs along the way. The Notre Dame product also recorded two receptions for 18 yards, and head coach Pete Carroll noted that Jones looked "really good" in Wednesday's practice. Meanwhile, Walker is reportedly rehabbing the injury intensely, but his status for Sunday's contest remains firmly up in the air.
