Moving to NFL
Knight announced Thursday via his personal Twitter account that he will forgo his remaining eligibility at NC State to enter the 2022 NFL Draft.
ANALYSIS
Knight wrapped up a three-year run with the Wolf Pack with at least 700 rushing yards in every season to go with 20 or more receptions in his final two campaigns. The 5-foot-11, 210-pound Knight will have a chance at being one of the first backs off the board in the draft if he fares well during the pre-draft process.

2021 Fantasy Outlook
Knight has been a model of consistency in his first two years at North Carolina State, running 136 times for 745 yards and five scores as a freshman, followed by a 143-788-10 line last season. Nicknamed “Bam”, Knight is a popular pick for a breakout junior campaign followed by a soaring NFL Draft status thanks to a nice balance of speed and size/power. He’s shown improvement as a pass catcher and will reportedly be more involved in that aspect this year as well. So what’s the catch? The presence of Ricky Person in this backfield. He’s garnered 100+ carries in his two healthy seasons in Raleigh, and he isn’t going to just go away. This offense should be better in 2021 so long as QB Devin Leary remains healthy, and Knight may not need 200 carries to reach 1,000 yards. But he likely would to avoid touchdown regression, so a true breakout campaign maynot be likely.
