Closer Watch

Atlanta – Jason Grilli pitched for the first time in six days Tuesday, entering in a tie game in the bottom of the ninth. He allowed two hits and the game-winning run while retiring one batter to take the loss. Jim Johnson had picked up Monday's save.

Kansas City – Greg Holland blew a save opportunity by allowing his first run of the season, but he remained in the game to throw in the 10th inning as well and earn the win. There is no danger of Holland losing the closer's job right now.

Miami – Steve Cishek is out as the closer, for now, saying Tuesday he would be used in middle relief after another meltdown Monday. Cishek put two runners on base, then allowed a walk-off home run to Scott Van Slyke.

Recommended Pickup

Archie Bradley, P, AZ – Bradley is set to return Saturday from a scary come-backer to the face and a brief trip to the DL. In three starts prior to the injury, Bradley had three quality starts and two wins. His prospect status goes a long way here. There is one warning sign – Bradley 14::11 K/BB ratio – but Bradley also owned a 31::20 GB/FB ratio and had not allowed a home run before the injury. Lots of owners dropped Bradley after the injury and he could be stashed until he returns this weekend.

Other Recent Recommendations:Noah Syndergaard, Torii Hunter, Addison Russell, Billy Burns, Kyle Blanks, Logan Morrison
