Closer Watch
Giants - Jean Machi recorded his second save the season Friday when he record the final five outs in perfect fashion. Machi got the first batter he faced in the eighth inning to hit into a double play to end the inning, and then was called to the mound again in the ninth for a rare four-run lead save. Sergio Romo is the Giants normal closer, but his last outing was also his second blown save, so maybe Bruce Bochi wanted to see if Machi had the stuff to possibly take over the closers role if needed in the future. Romo should get the next chance to take the bump with a save on the line, but Machi has only allowed one run over 24.1 innings which makes him a great second choice.

In 36 games so far in 2014 Chisenhall has a .381 average, .444 OBP, and 1.006 OPS, so it makes it hard to believe that the Indians left-handed bat is available in so many leagues.
