Transactions - Players who have been demoted, called up, traded, released, you name it. We'll cover it here.
No transactions.
Closer Watch
Baltimore Orioles – Left-handed closer Zach Britton has not given up a run since June 20 and is locked into the job for the O's.
Chicago White Sox – The closer-by-committee (Zach Putnam, Jacob Petricka and Javy Guerra) approach is still a muddled situation in Chicago, with no one stepping up to take the bulk of the save opportunities. Unless you're desperate for saves it's a situation worth passing on in general. If you insist on dipping into this White Sox bag of tricks then go with Putnam.
Miami Marlins – For now, Steve Cishek's job is safe but he has blown two saves and given up five earned runs over his last four appearances. If you've got Cishek then snagging Mike Dunn or Bryan Morris isn't a bad idea.

Jacob deGrom, SP, NYM – I bet you can guess who's been one of the hottest pitchers in baseball over the last few weeks? The Mets rookie pitcher has racked up impressive numbers since he was hit hard on June 16 facing the Cardinals, but since then deGrom has only given up six earned runs over his last five starts while racking up three wins in the process. The most impressive stat, however, is deGrom's 38 strikeouts in 32.2 innings pitched. Grab deGrom while the going is good, but keep in mind rookies are known for inconsistencies so deGrom may end up just being a spot-start option only down the line for your team.
