Dream11 Fantasy Soccer: Sheffield United v. Chelsea Preview

This article is part of our Dream11 Fantasy Soccer series.

Game Preview

Sheffield United have been the biggest surprise of the 2019-20 English Premier League season and remain very much alive in the race for a 2020-21 UEFA Europa League berth, as they enter this game on a three-game undefeated streak (W2, D1). That said, they went four-straight contests without a win before that aforementioned three-game run so they keep searching for consistency down the stretch. Chelsea, on the other hand, sit in third place with 60 points and look safe for now, but they don't have time to get complacent down the stretch. They have been playing well of late with four wins in their last five league matches (W4, L1) and also rank as the second-best away team in the competition, with nine wins and just five losses away from Stamford Bridge. Earning the three points here would represent a massive step forward on their quest to clinch a UEFA Champions League berth ahead of the 2020-21 campaign.

Top picks

Willian, Chelsea: The Brazilian has been on fire since the Premier League resumed last month and, right now, he should be considered Chelsea's most important player by a wide margin. He has cracked the score-sheet in four-straight games and has four goals with two assists since the league resumed last month.

Tammy Abraham, Chelsea: Abraham has 14 goals and three assists in 30 appearances (24 starts) in 2019-20. The Englishman has not been playing well of late, but the team needs him to step it up. He should be good for, at least, a few chances Saturday against The Blades.
