"6 weeks today, and alot of people said it wasn't going to be easy that is so true it's been difficult but am finally feeling a lot more myself now and seeing signs of progress from looking through past photos, now out of cast and into a air cast still a long road but step by step day by day I feel improvements" he said.

According to manager Paul Heckingham after the match, "He's where he needs to be, with the doctors and medics in hospital. It's something that you never want to see.
