Starr has been able to pull in sponsorship money for this team and that has kept him racing well into his 50's. Last season the veteran driver made 26 starts, most of them for the MBM team. He only earned five Top-20 finishes in those efforts and an inflated 27.3 average finish. Still, Starr raced competitively as this team would allow and was not a start-and-park operation. In fact, he only suffered five DNF's throughout the 2021 campaign. Starr has not been confirmed in the team's No. 66 entry at the time of this writing, but he should be back for 2022. It will be another season of Xfinity Series racing for the 54-year-old Texan.
