Still searching for first UFC win
Light HeavyweightUFC
November 6, 2021
Allan lost to Dustin Jacoby via unanimous decision (28-29, 28-29, 27-30) at UFC 268 on Saturday in New York City.
ANALYSIS
Originally scheduled to fight Aleksa Camur, Allan managed to see the final bell despite entering as a +300 underdog against Jacoby. To Allan's credit, he settled in a bit as the bout progressed. As one would predict, he had difficulty with the stand-up game of the talented Jacoby, but Allan's chin held up just fine. Allan's power is legitimate, but he has never been able to get on track under the UFC banner. He was submitted on Dana White's Contender Series: Brazil back in August 2018 and is without a victory (0-2, 1NC) in three official UFC bouts. There is no guarantee he gets a fourth opportunity.

Allan (13-6-0, 1 NC) is now scheduled to fight Dustin Jacoby (15-1-1) in a light heavyweight matchup at Saturday's UFC 268 in New York City after Allan's initial opponent, Aleksa Camur (6-2-0), withdrew Monday due to an unspecified injury, Marcel Dorff of MMADNA.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
"The Hunter" will step into the Octagon for the first time in 2021, looking to get back on the winning track after he lost in a split decision to Roman Dolidze in his most recent fight in December 2020. Allan has yet to record a win since joining the UFC, as his July 2019 debut fight against Mike Rodriguez went down as a no contest.
Set for first fight of 2021
Light HeavyweightUFC
August 30, 2021
Allan will face Aleksa Camur in a light heavyweight bout at UFC 268 on Nov. 6, Marcel Dorff of MMADNA reports.
ANALYSIS
Allan is coming off a right knee and ankle injury suffered in his loss to Roman Dolidze back in November. That was his first fight since 2019 due to a positive test for a banned substance. Allan needs to show something against Camur who is coming off two straight losses.

Allan will need clearance on his right knee with an MRI and right ankle with an x-ray or be suspended 180-days, MMAJunkie.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Allan is coming off a split decision lost to Roman Dolidze last Saturday. It dropped his career record to 13-6. Allan has some knee and ankle issues to get cleared up if he wants to get back in the Octagon before early June of 2021.
Controlled by Roman Dolidze
Light HeavyweightUFC
December 5, 2020
Allan lost to Roman Dolidze via split decision (28-29, 29-29, 27-30) at UFC on ESPN 19 on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
Allan hung around and was a threat throughout the course of the 15-minute bout, but to suggest he won this fight was laughable. Allan was particularly effective when the two men were matched on the feet, but he spent far too much of this fight being dominated by Dolidze on the mat. Allan has some power, but his gas tank is questionable and his overall offensive arsenal is pretty limited. It's early in his run, but the 27-year-old Brazilian has the look of nothing more than valuable roster depth for the UFC.
Not fighting Herman
Light HeavyweightUFC
September 3, 2020
Allan will not fight Ed Herman at the UFC event on September 12, MMAFighting.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Allan had to withdraw from the September 12 fight due to visa issues. He is currently still booked to fight Roman Dolidze at the UFC event on November 21, which would be his first fight since being suspended for a year due to testing positive for a banned substance.
