Draws Hardy in St. Louis
Aldrich will take on Veronica Hardy in a flyweight matchup at UFC St. Louis on May 11th, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Aldrich has won back-to-back fights and five of her last seven overall, so this is potentially an opportunity for her to break into the rankings at 125 pounds. She'll look to do so against Hardy, who last competed in December nad picked up her second-straight decision victory. Aldrich has slight height and reach advantages, in addition to the edge in volume striking.

Takes decision in Vegas opener
Aldrich defeated Montana De La Rosa via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
Clearly hoping to keep this fight on the feet in hopes of damaging De La Rosa with her boxing game, Aldrich was essentially gifted a victory here after Montana went for just a single takedown over the course of the 15-minute bout. JJ actually lost the total strike battle by a 70-66 count, but there's zero doubt she landed the more impactful strikes the duration of the fight. This one was not particularly close. The 31-year-old Colorado native has rebounded nicely from back-to-back defeats, getting past De La Rosa and Na Liang in the span of the past six weeks.

Will fight De La Rosa
Aldrich will fight Montana De La Rosa at UFC Apex on Oct. 7, Nolan King of USA Today reports.
ANALYSIS
Aldrich got her career back on track against Na Liang in August after two lousy losses, earning her first knockout win since September 2016. Aldrich will have her hands full with Montana who is 5-4-1 in the UFC and known for her submission skills.

Snaps brief losing streak
Aldrich defeated Na Liang via TKO (punches) at 4:49 of Round 2 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Singapore.
ANALYSIS
It's difficult to believe Aldrich should have been a -550 favorite against anyone given her recent no-shows in defeats to Ariane Lipski and Erin Blanchfield, but the Vegas oddsmakers backed her in a major way here and she responded. The competition level she was going up against must be taken into consideration, but it was certainly nice to see Aldrich pick up her first knockout win since September 2016. She needs to clean up her takedown defense, as Liang landed 3-of-4 attempts in this bout, but the victory ensures the 31-year-old Colorado native's next fight will be with the UFC.

Set to fight in August
Aldrich will be fighting Na Liang at UFC Singapore on August 26, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Aldrich is looking to bounce back after losing her last two fights and will face an up-and-comer in Liang who is in search of her first win in the promotion entering her third fight. Aldrich suffered a defeat her last time out despite being a whopping -400 favorite and should see herself as a sizeable favorite against the inexperienced Liang.
