Losing streak hits five
FlyweightUFC
June 8, 2024
Lee lost to Montana De La Rosa via split decision (28-29, 29-28, 28-29) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Louisville, Kentucky.
ANALYSIS
There's zero chance Lee deserved to win this fight, and it's mind-boggling that one judge felt she did. To be fair, Lee clearly won Round 1. She got her striking game going a bit and did some solid work on the mat. Rounds 2 and 3? Forget it. Lee essentially took the second frame off entirely, allowing De La Rosa to dominate on the feet. The final frame was more of the same before one De La Rosa takedown put things out of reach for "KGB." The UFC gave Lee another opportunity despite the fact she entered having lost four straight, and she didn't reward the company's faith. Her time with the UFC has almost certainly come to a close.

Lee is scheduled to compete against Montana De La Rosa in a flyweight fight at UFC Louisville on June 8, per Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl.
ANALYSIS
Lee defeated De La Rosa at UFC Fight Night 154 in June 2019. But since then, the former has gone on two separate losing streaks, the latest one reaching four after a decision defeat to Miranda Maverick at UFC 298. This will be another and possibly a final chance for Lee to break her unfortunate streak in the promotion.
Losing streak hits four

Lee lost to Miranda Maverick via unanimous decision (27-30, 27-30, 28-29) at UFC 298 on Saturday in Anaheim.
ANALYSIS
It's Lee's fourth straight defeat and by far the most concerning of the bunch. Going up against a known grappler in Maverick, Lee not only gave up three takedowns, but also found herself on the short end of a 106-59 count in terms of total strikes landed. Lee has very little means of generating offense outside of her Muay Thai skills, which appear to understandably to be slipping at age 35. In addition to the four straight losses, "KGB" is just 2-7 in her past nine bouts dating back to September 2019. Her time with the company has almost certainly come to an end.

Lee will fight Miranda Maverick at UFC 298 on Feb. 17, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Lee has dropped three consecutive fights -- her most recent loss coming against Natalia Silva in August -- pulling her UFC record down to 5-6. Losing a fourth fight in a row would almost certainly be problematic for her future within the promotion.
Dealt third-straight loss
FlyweightUFC
August 20, 2023
Lee lost to Natalia Silva via unanimous decision (27-30, 27-30, 27-30) at UFC 292 on Saturday in Boston.
ANALYSIS
Lee struggled to get inside in what turned out to be a 15-minute kickboxing affair, and she was getting off second in virtually all of the exchanges. Even entering as a sizable (+260) betting underdog, she still managed to underwhelm, and the result was a third consecutive defeat that could very well end up costing Lee her roster spot. She landed less than 50 significant strikes in each of those -- all decisions == so it's not like she was lighting things up from a fantasy standpoint either. The last victory for the 34-year-old came against Cynthia Calvillo in 2021.
Scheduled to fight Silva
FlyweightUFC
June 14, 2023
Lee will fight Natalia Silva in a flyweight bout scheduled for UFC 292 at Boston on Aug 19, according to Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl.
ANALYSIS
Lee will look to redeem herself after back-to-back decision losses against Viviane Araujo and Maycee Barber, though the latter defeat is questionable. Defeating a promising Silva, who has won each of her last nine fights, would get Lee back on track.
