Scheduled for Newark fight
Park is scheduled to compete against Andre Lima in a flyweight fight at UFC 302 in Newark on June 1, per Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl.
ANALYSIS
Park's next opponent is best known for his latest fight at UFC Vegas 89, when Lima extended his undefeated record to 8-0 with a debut win. The victory was notable because he was bitten by then-opponent Igor da Silva, which triggered a disqualification. As for Park, he will look to extend his undefeated streak to 10-0 with a second consecutive UFC win, the first that came via a TKO to Shannon Ross back in December.

Cruises as biggest favorite on card
Park defeated Shannon Ross via TKO (punches) at 3:59 of Round 2 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
Making his official UFC debut after winning the "Road to the UFC" tournament last February, Park entered as a -675 favorite, by far the largest on the entire card. The 28-year-old South Korean is known more for his ground game than power, but any opponent facing Ross is required to throw hands knowing he will eventually crumble, and Park did just that. It would go on to earn him one of four $50,000 Performance of the Night bonuses awarded on the evening. The truth of the matter is that Park has no experience against better competition, and this result tells us nothing about what to expect from him moving forward. Yet, all you can do is handle who they put in front of you, as Park did here.

Booked for UFC Shanghai
Park will take on Shannon Ross at UFC Shanghai on Dec. 9, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport Nederland reports.
ANALYSIS
Park's first fight under the UFC banner came back in February when he submitted Seung Guk Choi. He will get the chance to prove himself again in a couple months in Shanghai against a fighter in Ross coming off a disappointing showing in his last bout at UFC 290.

Newest member of UFC roster
Park defeated Seung Guk Choi via submission (rear-naked choke) at 3:11 of Round 3 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
Park and Choi both had their moments, with Park landing more volume and the only takedown of the fight, while Choi connected with the biggest strike of the night, a Round 2 knockdown. With the fight seemingly tied at a round a piece entering the final frame, Park powered in for a takedown which led to some control time, and eventually, the rear-naked choke which ended the fight. With the victory, Park becomes the flyweight winner of the "Road to UFC" tournament and earns a contract with the company.
