Scheduled against Naimov
Silva is scheduled to compete against Muhammadjon Naimov in a featherweight fight at UFC Mexico on Feb. 24, according to Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl.
ANALYSIS
Silva will look to make 2024 his bounce-back year. After signing with the UFC in 2022, he lost his promotional debut to TJ Brown at UFC 282 that year and completely sat out 2023.

Submits in UFC debut
Silva lost to TJ Brown via submission (arm-triangle choke) at 3:41 of Round 3 at UFC 282 on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
Silva earned his UFC opportunity with a 92-second knockout win on Dana White's Contender Series this past August. He was unable to carry that momentum over to his UFC debut. Silva earned a bunch of quick stoppages on the regional circuit, but his gas tank appeared questionable in this one, which is somewhat understandable considering Brown spent a good portion of the fight controlling him on the mat. Set to turn 36 years of age next March, Silva appears unlikely to go on a prolonged winning streak during his time with the UFC.

Set to make UFC debut
Silva will fight TJ Brown at the UFC event Dec. 10, Carlos Contreras Legaspi of ESPN Deportes reports.
ANALYSIS
Silva is set to make his UFC debut in this one, as the featherweight recently earned an UFC contract in early August after defeating Anvar Boynazarov. Moreover, this will be Brown's third UFC fight. Brown won his first two battles but previously lost to Shayilan Nuerdanbieke on June 26.

Earns contract with quick stoppage
Silva defeated Anvar Boynazarov via TKO (punches) at 1:32 of Round 1 at Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series. After the show, he was one of three fighters to be awarded an official UFC contract.
ANALYSIS
Silva earned the first stoppage of the evening, and there was little doubt about the fact he'd be getting a contract due to the speed and dominance of his effort. Going up against an experienced kickboxer with little MMA run, Silva recorded a takedown early and proceeded to rain down vicious elbows. Once a couple got through, the show was all but over. While Dana White did acknowledge afterwards that he believes Silva's opponent was competing in the wrong weight class, he ultimately conceded that that's something out of Silva's control and proceeded to welcome the 35-year-old Venezuelan to the UFC. Silva didn't absorb a single significant strike in this one, so he should be free to book his official company debut in the near future.
