ANALYSIS
Barely multiple weeks since his TKO win over Kevin Jousset, Battle wasted no time landing another fight. He bounced back from a no-contest against Ange Loosa by defeating Kevin Jousset in his home country of France.

Massive win in enemy territory
Battle defeated Kevin Jousset via TKO (punches) at 3:47 of Round 2 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Paris.
ANALYSIS
Battle seemed to want to make a statement in Round 1 by grappling Jousset. That never really materialized, but an onslaught on the feet throughout the near entirety of Round 2 ended up being more than enough to close the show. Battle ate a few too many big blows from Jousset, but more than made up for it with volume. Countless unanswered blows also the fence eventually resulted in referee Herb Dean stepping in. While the performance inside the octagon was great, the highlight of the evening for Battle was the heel promo he cut on the crowd afterwards. "The Butcher" improves to 6-1 (1NC) in his first eight UFC bouts.

ANALYSIS
After a frustrating no contest result against Ange Loosa back in March, the American welterweight will look for his first win of 2024 with a current UFC record of 5-1-1. Battle will take on a newer fighter in Jousset, who has an undefeated record in his first two fights.

Foul leads to no contest
Battle and Ange Loosa fought to a no contest (accidental eye poke) at 1:00 of Round 2 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
Battle was visibly upset after the bout was called and rightfully so. He was dominating from start to finish, well on his way to improving his record to 6-1 in his first seven UFC bouts, at which point he clipped Loosa in the eye. Ange didn't take anywhere near the full five minutes, quickly telling the doctor he couldn't see, and that was all she wrote. Battle lost his mind on Loosa after the decision was announced, and the two had to be separated. Re-booking this fight in the not-too-distant future makes all the sense in the world.
