2024 Fantasy Outlook
Once famous for catching a ton of passes without even one going for a touchdown, Meyers went on an unexpected binge the past two seasons, hitting paydirt six times in 14 games during his final season with New England and then 10 times (two rushing) in 16 games for the Raiders last year. His other numbers in his first Vegas season were solid but less impressive, with the 27-year-old grabbing 71 of 106 targets (67.0 percent) for 807 yards (11.4 YPR, 7.6 YPT). Most of his peripherals looked very similar to what he'd done in New England, including the catch rate, YPT, YPR, a 9.7 aDOT and a 3.4 YAC average. There's nothing that really stands out about Meyers, apart from reliable hands, though he at least plays faster than a 4.63 40 time back in 2019 seemed to suggest. He's never been a deep threat despite being reasonably tall (6-2, 200), and his work with the ball in his hands also fails to stand out. And yet, Meyers is undoubtedly a good player -- one who's added value to every team he's been on despite being stuck with bad QBs each year besides his rookie season (Tom Brady's final Patriots campaign). He's set for TD regression in 2024, especially after Gardner Minshew was the Raiders' "big" QB addition, and there's also some chance of a modest volume decline after the team drafted TE Brock Bowers in the first round. Bowers just might be good enough to step right in as the second option after WR Davante Adams, who took a step back last season but still commanded targets at his usual, dominant rate. RANKS
All set for Monday
Meyers (ankle) does not carry an injury designation ahead of Monday's contest against the Falcons, Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Meyers' status never seemed to be in jeopardy, and after practicing fully Saturday he's set to reprise a role that has yielded 36 targets over the past three games. Whether the passing game will remain functional is another question entirely, as starter Aidan O'Connell is technically listed as questionable despite failing to practice all week due to a knee bruise. In the event O'Connell is ruled out, the Raiders would likely turn to Desmond Ridder, who has compiled 239 yards and a touchdown on 44 pass attempts scattered across three spot appearances this season.

2019
Meyers reunites this season with Josh McDaniels, his offensive coordinator in New England the first three years of his career (2019-21). It was under McDaniels that Meyers developed from a 2019 UDFA into a solid starter, though the 26-year-old's best fantasy season actually happened last year within a mess of a New England offense in which his six TDs, 8.4 YPT and career-high 57.4 receiving yards per game (14 appearances) put him among the few bright spots. It was enough to earn a three-year, $33 million contract, though the Raiders can get out of it after one season and about $11 million if Meyers is healthy next March (the post-2023 guarantees are only for injury). He joins an offense that lost TE Darren Waller and WR Mack Hollins in the offseason, leaving Davante Adams and slot man Hunter Renfrow as the other top options for new QB Jimmy Garoppolo. None of that sounds overly encouraging, apart from maybe Waller's departure, as Garoppolo is mediocre, Adams is essentially assured of massive volume and Renfrow's talents might conflict with Meyers'. That said, Meyers is 6-2 and has actually produced more yards per route from the perimeter than the slot in each of his NFL seasons, albeit while running 60-70 percent of his routes inside each year and doing little to prove that his 4.63 40 at the 2019 combine was a fluke.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Potential trade chip
Meyers is a player who could get traded at Tuesday's deadline, Tom Pelissaro of NFL Network reports.
ANALYSIS
The Raiders just fired offensive coordinator Luke Getsy and have already traded Davante Adams, so a full housecleaning appears to be coming as they load up on draft capital ahead of the 2025 Draft, and a search for their next franchise quarterback. Meyers still is on an affordable contract that runs through next season and could be a steadying influence on a rookie QB, but the wide receiver market has been very hot this season, and a contender in need of help at the position might make Las Vegas an offer the front office can't turn down.
