2024 Fantasy Outlook
As a rookie, Tucker failed to run more than 20 routes in 13 of his first 14 games. However, the receiver averaged 31 routes run, 3.5 receptions and 58 yards in the final two games of the season. Tucker was largely used as a deep threat. His average depth of target was in the 99th percentile. Conversely, Tucker only posted 1.4 yards after the catch, which put him near the bottom of the league. If the Raiders build on the receiver’s late season usage, he could see a significant jump from the 331 yards he recorded in 2023. However, it seems clear that coach Antonio Pierce prefers the Raiders to play strong defense and run the football. Also, Las Vegas is going into the season with Gardner Minshew and Aidan O’Connell atop the quarterback depth chart. Finally, after the Raiders added Brock Bowers in the draft, Tucker may be, at best, the No. 4 option in a low volume passing attack. Betting on a breakout may not be wise. Read Past Outlooks

2023 Fantasy Outlook
Las Vegas parlayed the 2023 third-round pick they received from the Giants in the Darren Waller trade into Tucker, selecting the speedster out of Cincinnati at 100th overall in April's draft. Despite running a 4.40-second 40-yard dash, Tucker's 5-foot-9, 185-pound stature could limit him to a gadget-type role as a rookie, while Davante Adams, Jakobi Meyers and Hunter Renfrow likely dominate snaps in 3-WR sets.

In for role expansion Sunday
Tucker is in line to move into the No. 2 receiver role for Sunday's Week 4 matchup against the Browns with Davante Adams ruled out due to a hamstring injury, Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
It's interesting timing for a role expansion for Tucker, who's coming off a career-best 7-96-1 line on nine targets in Week 3 that already has him on fantasy radars. The speedy second-year pro now moves into Jakobi Meyers' spot on the depth chart while the latter shifts to the No. 1 role, but Tucker is likely to run more downfield routes than Meyers typically does.
