The Bills took Shorter in the fifth round just last year, but this offseason they scooped up Keon Coleman in the second round of the 2024 draft and were also busy in the free agent market. The Florida product is thus looking at a depth chart that includes several newcomers who are projected to work ahead of him. As a rookie, the 6-4, 223-pounder didn't see any regular-season action after landing on IR with a hamstring injury. 2023 Fantasy Outlook
At 6-4, 223 pounds, Shorter brings a welcome element of size and length to the Buffalo wide receiver room. Stefon Diggs is the team's number one option and one of the very best in the league. Gabe Davis is a solid number two wideout, but after the clear-cut top duo the group thins out pretty fast, meaning that there could be an opportunity for Shorter to contribute as a rookie. With that in mind, the fifth-rounder will be competing for complementary snaps and targets with Deonte Harty, Khalil Shakir and Trent Sherfield.
