Rest-of-Season Projections
2024 Fantasy Outlook
Bosa played in just nine games last season before suffering a season-ending foot injury. It's the third time in the last four years the veteran pass rusher missed at least four games, and dating back to 2016, Bosa has played 16 or more games just three times. When healthy the 28-year-old is still a premiere pass rusher and in theory should partner well with Khalil Mack in Jim Harbaugh's vaunted defensive scheme. It remains to be seen if that'll happen in actuality given the duo's propensity for nagging injuries. Read Past Outlooks
Continues to work through hip issue
Bosa (hip) was limited in Wednesday's practice.
ANALYSIS
Bosa has played through a hip injury over the Chargers' last three games, which has limited him to 18 defensive snaps in each of those contests. His snap count in Week 11 against the Bengals will likely be capped unless he's able to practice without limitations over the next two days.

Acquired from the Bears last offseason, Mack didn't make as significant of an impact as the Chargers might have hoped. However, much of that had to do with the absence of stalwart linebacker Joey Bosa, who missed 12 games due to a groin injury. It's been four seasons since the No. 5 overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft has registered double-digit sacks but if Mack and Bosa can stay healthy for the majority of the season, the duo should provide the team's defense with a potent pass-rushing combo in 2023.
