2024 Fantasy Outlook
Foreman is capable of providing a functional power-based run game when given volume, and he proved as much when he led Carolina with 914 rushing yards at an efficient 4.5 yards per carry in 2022. The problem is that the 235-pounder sometimes finishes games better than he starts them, plus he's never contributed much as a pass catcher. Foreman could share backfield work with Jerome Ford if Nick Chubb is still working his way back from a major knee injury early in the season, but the trivial amount of guaranteed money ($335,000) in Foreman's one-year contract means he'll first need to prove he's worthy of a spot on the team. RANKS
Held to 27 yards on ground
Foreman rushed the ball 10 times for 27 yards in Saturday's 35-10 loss to the Ravens. He added one reception on one target for eight yards.
ANALYSIS
Foreman led the Cleveland backfield due to both Jerome Ford (ankle) and Pierre Strong (concussion) sidelined. He wasn't able to rack up much yardage against a stout Baltimore defense, as four of his 10 attempts went for zero or one yards. Foreman is set to hit free agency this offseason, and he will likely be in line to compete for a backup job during training camp in 2025.

Foreman took over the lead role in Carolina last year after Christian McCaffrey was traded midseason. He topped 100 rushing yards in five of 11 games and was third in the league with 877 rushing yards Weeks 7-18. He joined the Bears in March on a one-year deal, and as much as their depth chart is varied, Foreman stands out. He's the biggest by far, at 6-0, 235, outweighing the second heaviest (rookie fourth-round pick Roschon Johnson) by 16 pounds despite having run roughly a tenth of a second faster in the 40. Foreman (4.46 pro day 40) is also the fastest Bears running back aside from maybe free-agent pickup Travis Homer (4.48 combine 40), who was a passing-down specialist in Seattle. Foreman and Khalil Herbert are the best runners of the four, while Homer and Johnson are probably the most qualified for passing-down work. Injuries could settle the question, but until then Foreman and his backfield mates are best viewed as lottery tickets rather than immediately useful.
