2024 Fantasy Outlook
Johnson appeared in 13 games of the 2023 season, recording 19 receptions for 284 yards and four touchdowns. Despite filling a depth role for the Broncos in his second pro season, the UCF product's four trips to the end zone were the second-highest mark among all Denver pass catchers. With that said, Johnson faces an uphill battle for playing time this season, behind the likes of Courtland Sutton, Josh Reynolds, Marvin Mims, who are the favorites to see the majority of snaps. In his age-26 season, the wideout will look to reprise his role as a depth option for Denver in the final year of his rookie contract. Read Past Outlooks
Bumped back down
Johnson reverted to the Steelers' practice squad Tuesday.
ANALYSIS
Johnson was elevated for Pittsburgh's win over the Giants on Monday but didn't see the field. Since he has now been elevated three times, he'll have to sign with the 53-man roster if he's going to suit up again for the Steelers.

2023 Fantasy Outlook
Johnson had a quiet rookie campaign in 2022, finishing with just six catches on 14 targets for 42 yards and one touchdown while appearing in seven games. Under contract through the 2024 season, the 25-year-old wideout will hope to secure a position on the roster with a new coaching staff in 2023. Johnson would likely continue to struggle to see consistent playing time in a crowded receiver corps headlined by Jerry Jeudy, Courtland Sutton, Marvin Mims and Marquez Callaway. However, the second-year receiver could provide solid depth if and when injuries become an issue during the season.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Opportunity awaits Week 17
Johnson, who has four touchdown receptions on 11 catches this season, could see an expanded role against the Chargers in Week 17 due to the Broncos' multiple receiver injuries.
ANALYSIS
The UCF product is thought to have plenty of potential, but he's been mired in a deep reserve role for most of his first two seasons. However, with Courtland Sutton already ruled out with a concussion and Jerry Jeudy and Marvin Mims carrying questionable tags due to an illness and a hamstring issue, respectively, Johnson could conceivably shoot all the way up to the top of the depth chart versus Los Angeles if his two teammates are ultimately ruled inactive.
