Cardinals QB - Just two days after signing a three-year contract extension, Carson Palmer went out on Sunday and suffered what seems to be a major knee injury - possibly a torn ACL - in Sunday's win over the Rams. If it's as bad as the Cards fear, we'll probably be seeing Drew Stanton back in the starting role for the rest of the season.
Cardinals WR - Michael Floyd's disappearing act seems to only be getting worse, as he was limited to one catch for 11 yards Sunday. John Brown was again second to Larry Fitzgerald in targets with five, catching them all for 73 yards and Arizona's only receiving touchdown.
Falcons RB - In case you thought things might change after the bye... no. Steven Jackson dominated the carries as usual Sunday against Tampa, toting 16 times and delivering a delightfully fantasy-relevant 81 yards and a touchdown. As usual, all three of Devonta Freeman, Antone Smith and Jacquizz Rodgers touched the ball between three and five times.
Falcons WR - While we saw about what we expected out of Julio Jones and Roddy White on Sunday, Devin Hester committed a brutal end-zone drop and then suffered a second-half ankle injury. Hester had the only reception by a Falcons wideout other than Jones and White, and it was a five-yarder. Harry Douglas, who'd been limited with a foot injury, didn't manage to catch either of his two targets.
Ravens RB - Justin Forsett busted out with a big game Sunday - nice for his fantasy owners to see after some slower performances recently. Forsett carried 20 times; Bernard Pierce stole eight carries and Lorenzo Taliaferro took three, but neither was able to do much of interest.
Ravens WR - The Steve Smith fade continues - just three catches for 17 yards against Tennessee in Week 10. As previously mentioned, we shouldn't be surprised, knowing Smith's history. Torrey Smith, meanwhile, continued his resurgence, leading the team in targets (eight), catches (five) and receiving yards (75) while catching his fifth touchdown in as many weeks.
Bills RB - Well, what do you know - Fred Jackson did indeed make a stunningly quick return from his groin injury in Week 10. However, he was used on a limited basis, with four catches and three carries. Anthony Dixon saw the greatest share of the rushing work, delivering a terrific 6.9 YPC on his nine carries, but Bryce Brown stole the show with his performance through the air, as his 65 receiving yards led the team and gave him a 100-total-yard day that only lost a little of its luster due to a fumble.
Bills WR - Sammy Watkins played through his groin issue Sunday and ended up being the team's most-targeted receiver, but caught just four of the 10 passes in his direction for 27 yards. The slow day opened things up for Chris Hogan, who caught five balls for 57, including a 25-yard touchdown, but also lost a fumble. Robert Woods was second in targets with eight, but posted only a marginally PPR-relevant six grabs for 52 yards.
Panthers RB - With DeAngelo Williams and Jonathan Stewart both back in the fold, the Panthers' running game is highly unlikely to produce consistent performers. While either or neither might break a big play (so far this year, it's been neither) or score a touchdown, they can't be relied upon for fantasy purposes.
Bears WR - Brandon Marshall finally looked like himself again for the most part in Week 10, catching eight out of 10 targets for 112 yards and a touchdown, but he suffered an apparent ankle injury (the left one, not the right one that's been limiting him this year) in the fourth quarter. It doesn't seem to be anything truly major, but with the Bears getting trucked by Green Bay, there was no need to roll him back out there for the final 12 or so minutes of pain.
Bengals QB - Andy Dalton turned in the most miserable game of his career Thursday, completing only 10 of 33 passes for 86 yards and three interceptions. Yikes. It was so bad that Jason Campbell got subbed into the game in the fourth quarter, though he only completed three passes for a grand total of seven yards, which is no way to win a job. Not that Campbell is capable of winning a job.
Bengals RB -Giovani Bernard (hip) couldn't go for the second straight week Thursday, leaving rushing duties to Jeremy Hill again. Hill couldn't duplicate his performance from the previous week, though, as he managed just 61 total yards and lost a fumble. He was still an efficient ballcarrier, however (4.6 YPC). It's unclear whether Bernard will be able to return this week, but we'll be looking for him on the practice field.
Bengals WR - As noted, the Cincy pass game got shut down altogether by Cleveland on Thursday, and A.J. Green turned in one of the uglier lines of his career - just three catches on 10 targets for 23 yards. Mohamed Sanu, not to be outdone, caught only two of seven for 20 yards.
Browns QB - Another competent-but-uninteresting game for Brian Hoyer… another Cleveland win. Johnny Manziel time seemed to be nearing, but has been snatched away from us. Cruelly.
Browns RB - The silliest backfield in the league had all three of its heads - Ben Tate, Terrance West and Isaiah Crowell - score rushing touchdowns on Thursday, but it was West who saw the most work, carrying 26 times for 94 yards. Amazingly, none of the three averaged more than West's 3.6 YPC, and yet due to the game circumstances, they accumulated 48 rushes between them. This time, both West and Crowell (12 carries, 41 yards) outrushed Tate (10 carries, 34 yards), though Tate was the only back targeted in the pass game. I don't know what's going to happen here from week to week, but West does seem to be in favor right now.
Browns WR - Thursday was a quiet night in the Cleveland passing game with no Andrew Hawkins (thigh/knee) in the fold, as Miles Austin's five catches for 48 yards paced the team. Taylor Gabriel had a disappointing encore to last week's blowup, catching three balls for 31 yards. Hawkins will probably be back in the No. 1 role next week, but you'll need to check in on his practice status.
Browns TE - Gary Barnidge served as the top tight end Thursday with Jordan Cameron (concussion) out again, catching two of four passes for 46 yards. Barnidge has shown some decent ability, but the Browns simply aren't throwing to the tight end like they were last year. No word on whether Cameron will be back for Week 11.
Cowboys QB - Tony Romo's back wasn't bothering him much in Week 10, as he went 20-for-27 for 246 yards and three touchdowns against Jacksonville. That'll do.
Broncos RB - Entering Sunday, Ronnie Hillman had rolled up 100-plus total yards in three of the last four games. He was coming off his second two-touchdown performance in three games. He was the unquestioned head of this backfield, expected to hold off Montee Ball (groin) even when Ball was ready to return. Then the Broncos decided to marginalize him in Week 10 to go with the hot hand of C.J. Anderson, who turned 13 rushes and seven pass targets (four catches) into 163 total yards and a touchdown through the air. Safe to say no one saw that coming. Meanwhile, Hillman ended up carrying six times and collecting 22 total yards. Brutal. Word is, the Broncos aren't happy with Hillman's blocking, which may have played a role in his reduced usage.
Broncos WR - Demaryius Thomas's fantasy owners have to be about ready to strangle Emmanuel Sanders, who's stealing all the big man's touchdowns. Thomas caught 11 passes for 108 yards Sunday, but got outdistanced readily in fantasy by Sanders' 67-yard, two-touchdown day. P.S.: Wes Welker's still useless (four catches, 24 yards).
Lions RB - Reggie Bush (ankle) saw precious little work in his return, rushing four times for 20 yards and catching a five-yard pass. He mostly served to nerf the fantasy value of Theo Riddick, who managed three rushes for zero yards and a catch for a loss of six before catching the game-winning 11-yard touchdown in the game's final minute. Joique Bell dominated the modest rushing load (10 carries, 44 yards) and caught a couple passes for 37 yards, which is about as good a game as you can get out of him these days.
Lions WR - Calvin Johnson made a Megatron-like return to action Sunday, catching seven balls for 113 yards and a score, and he could have produced a good amount more if not for the fine play of Miami corner Brent Grimes. His return didn't eat much into the workload of Golden Tate, who was still targeted 13 times, reeling in 11 for 109 yards. Those two accounted for 27 of Matt Stafford's 40 pass attempts.
Lions TE - Brandon Pettigrew played Sunday, but didn't see a single target in the pass game and missed some time after aggravating his foot issue. Joseph Fauria and Eric Ebron didn't suit up, and Kellen Davis didn't catch his only target.
Packers QB - With a 315-yard, six-touchdown game from Aaron Rodgers on Sunday, I think we're all comfortable with the state of his hamstring. Matt Flynn only saw some late action due to Rodgers sitting out much of the second half of the evening's romp over the Bears.
Texans QB - The Houston offense has been turned over to fourth-year man Ryan Mallett, who's set to make his first NFL start in Week 11. Mallett has only attempted four regular-season passes in his career, so he's the ultimate unknown quantity. But he does have a strong arm, which should pique the interest of Andre Johnson and DeAndre Hopkins owners.
Texans RB - Arian Foster is expected to overcome his groin injury and play in Week 11, but due to the aggravation-prone nature of groin issues, it's a good idea to hold onto Alfred Blue on spec.
Colts WR - As expected, Donte Moncrief was sparingly used in Week 9 after his Week 8 breakout, as Reggie Wayne was able to get back on the field. Despite my wishful thinking, Moncrief is still No. 4 here behind T.Y. Hilton, Wayne and Hakeem Nicks.
Jaguars WR - Cecil Shorts was unimpeachable on Sunday, catching all five of his targets for 119 yards, but no Jags receiver found the end zone. Allen Robinson saw the most targets - 10 - but caught just half of them for 60 yards. Allen Hurns and Marqise Lee and Ace Sanders were barely used.
Dolphins RB - Lamar Miller (shoulder) dressed in Week 10 against Detroit, but was limited to just five touches. Damien Williams and Daniel Thomas took the majority of the work, with neither making much impact outside of one nice 19-yard run by Williams. Expect Miller to retake primary duties this week against Buffalo.
Vikings RB - Mystery! Intrigue! Adrian Peterson pleaded guilty to lesser charges last week, and now it seems like it should be only a matter of time before he gets back on the field. But you never know with the image-conscious NFL. Don't dump Jerick McKinnon or (gag me with a spoon) Matt Asiata just yet… but make sure AP isn't just floating on your wire.
Saints RB - Mark Ingram keeps on busting out big-time fantasy lines, and he even saw five targets in the pass game Sunday, marginalizing Travaris Cadet even more. Will Pierre Thomas even have a role to speak of when he's ready to return? Thomas could very well be back this week, pending practice.
Saints WR - Just one week after being Drew Brees' favorite receiver, Kenny Stills didn't catch a pass 'til overtime Sunday. Typical. Brandin Cooks was easily the most popular kid in school this time, catching five balls on eight targets for 90 yards and a score. Meanwhile, Marques Colston owners are, as they always seem to be by this time of year, full of frustration and rage. Colston hasn't exceeded 50 yards in any of the last three weeks.
Giants RB - With Rashad Jennings (knee) still unable to return in Week 10, Andre Williams turned in his fifth consecutive game with a sub-4.0 YPC, gaining only 33 yards on 13 carries while catching just two out of five pass targets. But hey, at least he scored a touchdown to save his fantasy day. Still, the Giants likely can't wait to get Jennings back with the way Williams has failed to impress.
Jets WR - T.J. Graham appeared pretty much out of nowhere Sunday to deliver a 67-yard touchdown catch in the first quarter, but wasn't targeted again in the game. You'd think the Jets would try to go back to that play, particularly considering they scored three points after their 17-point first quarter, but no - it was Graham's only target. That part isn't news, as he's been averaging less than one target per week. Percy Harvin and Eric Decker were used the most, as usual, though Michael Vick only needed to attempt 18 passes.
Jets TE - This time, Jeff Cumberland disappeared, while Jace Amaro saw five targets in Sunday's win over Pittsburgh. He caught just two for six yards and a touchdown. There's pretty minimal fantasy value in this situation now.
Raiders WR - There's not a lot to say about this group of castoffs, but I felt the need to remark upon the game James Jones had Sunday. The guy was targeted 12 times. He caught eight passes. And he gained 20 yards. Yeah, 20. Total.
Raiders TE - Mychal Rivera is pretty much the only fantasy asset the Raiders have to offer, and he cemented that Sunday by catching all six of his targets for 64 yards and a score Sunday. There is no other Raiders tight end worth noting.
Eagles QB - Mark Sanchez is set to make his first start as an Eagle on Monday night. His last NFL start came as a Jet on Dec. 30, 2012, when he threw his eighth interception in four weeks as part of a 17-for-35 day. But that was then and this is now. Sanchez has better weapons than ever before at his disposal, and that makes for a lot of intrigue going into MNF.
Steelers WR - The Jets' defense pumped the brakes on the Pittsburgh pass game in Week 10, but there's no stopping Martavis Bryant, apparently. He made his four catches into 143 yards and a touchdown - helped along by an 80-yard score late in the game - pushing his four-week total to 310 yards and six touchdowns. Meanwhile, Antonio Brown turned in a super-rare dud, losing two fumbles to go with a modest eight catches for 74 yards. There wasn't much left over for Markus Wheaton (four catches, 41 yards).
Chargers QB - Philip Rivers will probably overcome the hand injury he suffered in Week 9 to get back out there in Week 11 with redemption on the brain after being shut out in Miami prior to the bye.
Chargers RB - Ryan Mathews has been practicing and is expected to suit up in Week 11, at which point he should presumably take control of the early-down work. It wouldn't be surprising to see him yield passing situations to Branden Oliver, though.
Seahawks WR - Because the Seahawks are perfectly capable of scoring 38 points without a single passing touchdown, that's exactly what they did Sunday against the Giants. Thirty-eight points, and yet Jermaine Kearse was the most productive receiver, with three catches for 70 yards. That together with Doug Baldwin's four for 31 should be enough to underscore the futility of owning Seattle receivers.
Rams RB - Although Tre Mason averaged a pretty quiet 3.4 YPC on Sunday and didn't win any fantasy matchups with his total 81 yards and no touchdowns, it's well worth noting that he saw a lot more exposure in the pass game. In fact, he led the Rams in targets (six) and catches (four). Benny Cunningham stole a touchdown from him Sunday, but otherwise was rarely involved; Zac Stacy went unused.
Buccaneers QB - The return of Josh McCown to the starting role in Week 10 was fairly effective from a fantasy perspective - he delivered Mike Evans a big day and helped Vincent Jackson to at least PPR usefulness - but McCown threw two picks and the team only scored 17 points. It'd be helpful if the Bucs had something resembling a running game to help the quarterbacks out - with five scampers for 39 yards, McCown easily led the team in rushing Sunday. Hey, his fantasy owners won't mind that.
Buccaneers RB - Charles Sims finally got his first taste of NFL action Sunday, but it didn't go that well - he rushed for just 23 yards on eight carries, caught two balls for 17 yards and lost a fumble. Bobby Rainey turned his six carries into only 14 yards, but at least he collected four receptions for 42. That helps a little. Mike James didn't make an impression on his four rushes either. Doug Martin could well be back next week, but this is looking like a backfield to forget in fantasy. Rainey's occasional explosive weeks are pretty unpredictable.
Titans QB - Zach Mettenberger didn't blow anyone's mind in his second NFL start, completing only 16 of 27 for 179 yards, a touchdown and a pick in Week 10 against the Ravens. This Tennessee passing game is almost certainly going to be painfully inconsistent for the rest of the year, but they're not going to go back to Jake Locker.
Titans RB - Bishop Sankey dominated the touches again Sunday, but again turned in an unimpactful fantasy line - 17 carries for 58 yards and three catches for 19. Shonn Greene carried just thrice and lost a fumble, so he's not coming for Sankey's touches, but that doesn't mean that Sankey's carrying a ton of fantasy value.
Titans TE - Delanie Walker suffered a concussion in Week 10, which leaves the Titans with noted guys you've never heard of Chase Coffman and Richard Gordon to pick up the pieces at tight end. Coffman whiffed on all three of his targets Sunday.
