Closer Watch

Giants -- Santiago Casilla blew his sixth save Monday, allowing an inherited baserunner to come around and score after Josh Osich started the ninth inning by allowing a pair of hits. The veteran's in no danger, as the only reason Osich was left in there in the first place is that Casilla had collected saves the prior two days. He'll surely be unavailable Tuesday, having now pitched three games in a row.

Rangers -- Neftali Feliz recorded his third consecutive save Monday, and reports had him reaching 98 with his heater. That's something to file away for next year

Recommended Pickup
Chris Carter, 1B, HOU – Carter's been cut to a lot of waiver wires in the midst of a season that's seen him hit below the Mendoza line, but he's been heating up in a big way lately, having homered in three straight games and five consecutive starts. Oddly, he seems to love hitting in Safeco Field, with a .274/.370/.538 career line there, and that's just where the Astros are right now.

Other Recent Recommendations:Rich Hill, Kevin Kiermaier, Steve Pearce, Darren O'Day, Mikie Mahtook

DraftKings Value Picks

SP: Tanner Roark, WAS ($4,600)
C: Yan Gomes, CLE ($3,300)
1B: Evan Gattis, HOU ($3,600)
2B: Rougned Odor, TEX ($3,500)
3B: Anthony Rendon, WAS ($3,700)
SS: Eduardo Escobar, MIN ($3,200)
OF: Michael Conforto, NYM ($3,700)
