Recommended Pickup
Jedd Gyorko, 2B, SD - Gyorko put his miserable start to the season behind him, going 8-for-21 (.381) with two doubles, two home runs, seven RBI and four runs scored in six games with the Padres since he was activated from the DL on July 28. He received a day off Sunday for rest, but he's well past the plantar fasciitis issue in his left foot and should be in San Diego's lineup most days as the team's regular second baseman. Fantasy owners who are looking for a cheap power source can do a lot worse than Gyorko, who is still widely available in CBS (45 percent) and Yahoo! (54 percent) leagues.
