PLAYER RECOMMENDATIONS
GOALKEEPER
Jordan Pickford, EVE v. TOT ($4,300): Everton have allowed the fourth-most shots outside the box this season, which lines up well for Pickford, who will face a Spurs team that has taken the most shots outside the box. Tottenham are always capable of putting up a big goal total, especially with a non-August Harry Kane leading the charge, but the recipe is there for Pickford to put up a decent score thanks to his save upside. For those looking to spend even less, Stoke's Jack Butland ($3,800) makes sense because Spurs are the only team to take more long-range shots than United through the short season.
DEFENDER
Daley Blind, MUN v. STK ($5,900): Manchester United could rotate a bit from their regular starting XI in preparation of next week's Champions League match against FC Basel, but Blind deserves plenty of consideration if he starts (making matters even tougher, United play in the late game). Blind has been taking most corners for a United team that is the second-highest favorite with the second-highest expected goal total. If waiting for the late-game lineup is too much of a worry in case Blind doesn't start, Cedric Soares ($5,700) is arguably the best open-play crossing fullback in the Premier League.
Markus Suttner, BHA v. WBA ($3,800): West Brom have allowed the most crosses in the Premier League this season, and while Brighton have been far from a solid unit, we may be able to make value with Suttner, who has sent in seven crosses in his last two games. Additionally, be on the lookout for Ezequiel Schelotto ($3,600), who was a decent crosser for Sporting CP.
Kieran Gibbs, WBA at BHA ($3,700): Gibbs transferred to West Brom from Arsenal just before the deadline and presents one of the best attacking fullbacks Tony Pulis has ever had. That's not to say he'll get free reign to storm up the sideline, especially since he's not even guaranteed to start. However, lining up against a weak Brighton side, Gibbs should be able to be forward enough to make value.
MIDFIELDER
Christian Eriksen, TOT at EVE ($10,500): Eriksen's high floor is what makes him so valuable, so while he is the third-most expensive player on the slate, it's tough to find someone more reliable. The matchup against Everton at Goodison Park isn't ideal, but it's also not an impossible task. Eriksen will need to get at least one assist to really provide solid value, but he can reach double-digits fairly easily.
Cesc Fabregas, CHE at LEI ($6,700): Chelsea could rotate their lineup a bit with a Champions League match coming up Tuesday, and Fabregas' value depends on who else is starting with him (if he starts, of course). He has been splitting corners with Willian ($7,600), but the Brazilian may not keep his starting job now that Eden Hazard ($9,700) is back from injury. You could make the case to play Willian if Fabregas doesn't start, though playing Hazard almost guarantees you need a goal to make value because he's unlikely to be on set pieces.
Pascal Gross, BHA v. WBA ($4,000): Gross took nine of Brighton's 11 corners in their last Premier League match, and he continues to provide great value for his price while playing in the no. 10 role. Anthony Knockaert ($6,300) will likely cross more in open play (and remember, West Brom give up plenty of crosses), but as long as Gross is this cheap and taking corners it's tough to pass on him when Brighton are favored (ever so slightly).
FORWARD
Alexis Sanchez, ARS v. BOU ($9,200): Alexis' transfer saga is over, at least for now, and while he apparently needs to be assessed before the match after playing twice for Chile during the recent international break, he's an excellent option if he starts. Arsenal are the heaviest favorites on the slate with the highest expected goal total and Alexis is their best attacking option. If he is unable to start, Alexandre Lacazette ($8,200) is a serviceable, albeit more goal dependent, alternative because he has the highest anytime goal scoring odds.
Gylfi Sigurdsson, EVE v. TOT ($8,100): Sigurdsson's upside is a bit limited against one of the best defensive sides in the Premier League, but his floor is so solid because of his expected role on all set pieces. He won't cross the ball a ton in open play, but he's nearly a guarantee for double-digit points every time he steps on the pitch.
Nathan Redmond, SOU v. WAT ($5,900): Redmond has taken at least three shots in each of the first three games this season and his nine chances created trail only four players in the league. Yes, chances created aren't worth anything on their own for DraftKings, but enough created chances and the assists (he has one already) will come.
