MLS Fantasy Rankings: Week 28

The rankings below are based on Major League Soccer's official fantasy game and cover all games in Week 28. While they can be used for DFS purposes, they are done with a focus on the league's season-long game.

5	Carlos Vela	LAFC at PHI	15.0	If he's not back for this match, there are Sunday forwards to move to that will do just fine too.
6	Mauro Manotas	HOU v. MIN, at VAN	9.1
7	Mason Toye	MIN at HOU, v. RSL	5.6	Quick turnaround from U-23 camp and action on Monday.
8	Chris Wondolowski	SJ at RSL, at NYC	7.9	Conflicting word on whether or not RSL gets their U-23 defenders back. If they don't (which is what I initially heard) then Wondo makes a great choice.
9	Angelo Rodriguez	MIN at HOU, v. RSL	5.9
10	Josef Martinez	ATL v. CLB	14.1	Columbus usually play Atlanta tough, but Josef is a great single game week option.
11	Christian Ramirez	HOU v. MIN, at VAN	7.0	Good player. Bad team.
12	Andre Shinyashiki	COL v. LA, at TOR	6.3
13	Brian Fernandez	POR v. DC	9.5
14	Maximiliano Urruti	MTL v. FCC	6.5

5	Alexander Ring	NYC v. TOR, v. SJ	9.1	Probably won't have to play centerback on Wednesday but there's a chance he's in a more defensive position.
6	Jack Price	COL v. LA, at TOR	8.4	One yellow away from suspension.
7	Michael Bradley	TOR at NYC, v. COL	9.6	Solid bonus point contribution and now on more set pieces than before.
8	Nicolas Benezet	TOR at NYC, v. COL	8.0	More upside than Bradley. Could take advantage of an unusual NYCFC set up.

14	Jonathan Lewis	COL v. LA, at TOR	7.9	Slightly downgraded due to appearing to pickup a knock last match.

17	Thomas Chacon	MIN at HOU, v. RSL	7.1	Set to earn his first official start for Minnesota. Could be an impact player straightaway.

20	Osvaldo Alonso	MIN at HOU, v. RSL	7.3	Ozzie may be forced back into action sooner than hoped with several Minnesota midfielders just returning from international duty. Jan Gregus in particular sounds unlikely to start Wednesday.

7	Wilfried Moimbe	MIN at HOU, v. RSL	6.0	I'm not certain he starts both, hence a slightly deflated ranking.
8	Daniel Steres	LA at COL, v. SKC	5.2	With Jona dos Santos playing 90 minutes for Mexico on Tuesday, the Galaxy's defensive outlook is drastically reduced for a matchup at Colorado.
9	Keegan Rosenberry	COL v. LA, at TOR	6.1	Quietly leading the league in interceptions by a pretty solid margin.
10	Ronald Matarrita	NYC v. TOR, v. SJ	5.7	Apparently eligible to play despite some questions of when he served his suspension.
11	Lalas Abubakar	COL v. LA, at TOR	6.0
12	Tommy Smith	COL v. LA, at TOR	5.2
13	Hassani Dotson	MIN at HOU, v. RSL	6.5	Returning from U-23 action on Monday.

8	Joe Willis	HOU v. MIN, at VAN	5.1	Houston's matchups are not bad at all, but unfortunately their team itself is. Maynor Figueroa and Aljaz Struna figure to miss the first leg of the DGW.
9	Maxime Crepeau	MTL v. FCC	7.0
10	Brad Guzan	ATL v. CLB	8.6
