Fantasy Premier League Rankings: Gameweek 26

This article is part of our Fantasy Premier League Rankings series.

As we all guessed heading into Gameweek 25, Norwich City held Manchester City scoreless, and Fulham scored twice in a draw against Manchester United at Old Trafford. But the one we all saw coming was Liverpool's 5-1 rout of Arsenal, that easily could have been 7-0. Right?

Hardly. What an incredibly bizarre and fantastic weekend of Premier League action, which also saw Eden Hazard notch a hat trick (well done to anyone who captained him), and Martin Skrtel bag a brace against The Gunners within 11 minutes of kickoff. With the Liverpool attack red hot right now, you'll see a number of players near the top of our rankings for Gameweek 26, which takes place Tuesday and Wednesday of this week.

As a reminder, Chris and I will be drafting against each other to formulate the rankings. A starting XI, plus seven bench spots (two strikers, two midfielders, two defenders, one goalkeeper). I had the first pick this week, Chris had two and three, I took four, and then we alternated after that. The overall rankings below will show how the draft played out, and then we break down each position, in case you're looking for that too.

If you have any feedback, whether on the format of the rankings, where certain players are ranked, or if you think we left someone out who should be on there, please feel free to post that in the comments section below.

Are your midfielder rankings backwards? Yaya Toure and Mesut Ozil are at the bottom.
Laird: I have Ozil on my own fantasy team and he's been incredibly frustrating lately. It seems like without Aaron Ramsey in the lineup, he doesn't know what to do. Ozil has zero goals and one assist in his last seven Premier League games. Frankly, I was thisclose to picking Charlie Adam over Ozil this week. And while Yaya Toure has two goals and an assist in his last four league matches...
Mosinski: His conversation rate is very high in that span. In fact, one of those goals was a penalty.
Laird: Toure hasn't taken more than two shots in a game since Boxing Day and he has only two assists since then too. He also may get suspended for kicking Ricky van Wolfswinkel on Saturday. That's why we have Navas and Silva higher this week.

Adrian as the top keeper this week?
Mosinski: You know who I love in goal? Adrian. He's the hottest keeper in the Premier League since he took over. And now he's got a home match against Norwich City.
Laird: He's definitely up there. Petr Cech can match him (each have four clean sheets in their last five matches), plus Cech has two more just before that streak.

Edin Dzeko was No. 1 overall last week and now he's out?
Laird: Dzeko has a slight ankle injury, which actually led to Stevan Jovetic replacing him in the starting XI on Saturday. Negredo isn't 100 percent either, but it's tough to ignore his love of goal-scoring at the Etihad.
