MATCH PREVIEW

Real Madrid resume their La Liga campaign looking for their third straight win when they host SD Huesca to the Bernabeu on Monday.

Los Blancos had a disappointing season under Santiago Solari, as they were knocked out of Copa del Rey and the UEFA Champions League while sitting 15 points behind Barcelona in La Liga. A change back to Zinedine Zidane as manager has renewed the club's optimism, winning 2-0 against Celta Vigo in his first match back in charge.

As for SD Huesca, they will be traveling for the first to the Bernabeu in the history of the league, and they'll be huge underdogs. However, they played excellently during the reverse fixture, which they lost 1-0, but they made Real Madrid struggle for the victory.

There are few injury concerns, as Real Madrid will be without Thibaut Courtois (ankle), Dani Carvajal (thigh) and Vinicius Junior (shin), while Luka Modric, Raphael Varane, Marco Asensio and Toni Kroos will be rested. SD Huesca will miss out on David Ferreiro (suspended), Jorge Miramon (hamstring), Akapo (leg), Pablo Insua (cruciate ligament), Luisinho (cruciate ligament) and Gonzalo Melero (groin).

PREDICTED XI

Real Madrid: Keylor Navas (GK), Alvaro Odriozola, Nacho, Sergio Ramos, Marcelo, Isco, Casemiro, Dani Ceballos, Gareth Bale, Karim Benzema, Lucas Vazquez

SD Huesca: Roberto Santamaria (GK), Pulido, Martin Maximiliano Mantovani, Xabier Etxeita, Adrian

COMBINED XI

PLAYERS RECOMMENDATIONS

Defender: Sergio Ramos (9.5 credits): Real Madrid's captain missed the Champions League last 16 exit after deliberately picking up a yellow card in the first leg of the tie. Ramos is the heart of Los Blancos defense, averaging 3.2 clearances, 1.2 tackles and 1.4 interceptions per game, though he also has six goals thanks to his role as Real Madrid's primary penalty taker.

Midfielder: Gareth Bale (9.5 credits): The Wales star is in good form, scoring eight goals with two assists in his 22 league appearances, and he scored in Zidane's return. Additionally, he scored the lone goal in the reverse fixture, giving him a nice setup for success again.

Forward: Karim Benzema (10.5 credits): Benzema has been a consistent performer in recent times, scoring 13 goals with four assists in his 28 league appearances. The 26-year-old will be the real threat in the final third, where Zidane will be hoping he can find the back of the net at least once.

Captain: Gareth Bale

Vice-Captain: Karim Benzema
