October 30, 2024
Reese is scheduled to compete against Sedriques Dumas in a middleweight fight at UFC 311 on Jan. 18, per Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl.
ANALYSIS
Reese will look to build off the positive momentum he created in 2024 and push it to 2025. He defeated Julian Marquez in 20 seconds on June 8 before cruising to a decision win just under three months later.

Cruises to decision win
MiddleweightUFC
August 24, 2024
Reese defeated Jose Medina via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
This was the first time in Reese's professional career that he saw a second round, let alone went the entire 15 minutes. He predictably started on fire before seeing his energy level and output drop along the way. To Reese's credit, he showed a different wrinkle to his game, landing 4-of-6 takedown attempts in Round 3 alone, good for 3:49 worth of control time. The grappling was nice to see, but Reese is going to make his living as a power puncher and brawler. Now 2-1 in his first three UFC bouts, Reese figures to get a more substantial test his next time out.

Reese will fight Jose Medina at a UFC event on Aug. 24, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Reese will get his third UFC fight, coming off TKO win over Julian Marquez earlier this June. The American middleweight takes on Medina, who is freshly out of Dana White's Contender Series and will enter his first ever UFC matchup.
Earns emphatic first UFC win
MiddleweightUFC
June 8, 2024
Reese defeated Julian Marquez via TKO (strikes) at 0:20 of Round 1 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Louisville, Kentucky.
ANALYSIS
In what is proof you can never predict what will happen next in this sport, Reese made his UFC debut last December and was knocked out in less than two minutes by Cody Brundage after being slammed on his head. He got another shot here against what most would term a much more difficult opponent in Marquez and responded with a 20-second knockout victory. Reese pressured Julian and clipped him with a kick to the body before finishing off his opponent with a beautiful uppercut. A $50,000 Performance of the Night bonus is likely heading the way of the 30-year-old Texan (later confirmed by UFC President Dana White).
To face Marquez

March 16, 2024
Reese will take on Julian Marquez at a UFC event on June 8, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Reese is looking to bounce back from his loss to Cody Brundage via KO (slam) in his debut fight with the company. His defeat happened in Round 1 at UFC Fight NIght in Austin this past December. His opponent, Marquez, is also looking to turn things around, as he is riding a two-fight losing streak.
UFC debut ends quickly
MiddleweightUFC
December 2, 2023
Reese lost to Cody Brundage via KO (slam) at 1:49 of Round 1 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Austin, Texas.
ANALYSIS
A native of nearby Shiner, Texas, Reese had the entire crowd behind him in his UFC debut. He was a -240 favorite despite having exactly six pro fights under his belt. Reese gave up an early takedown, and just like we saw in the fight prior, was eventually lifted up and slammed to the mat by his opponent. Brundage fired off some follow-up shots before referee Jeff Rexroad pulled the plug. Brundage has shown very little during his time with the UFC, so the fact Reese lost to him in less than two minutes in his company debut isn't a great sign moving forward.
