Overwhelmed in late-notice debut
WelterweightUFC
November 9, 2024
Scroggin lost to Elizeu Zaleski dos Santos via TKO (punches) at 1:15 of Round 1 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
Agreeing to this fight just days ago following the withdrawal of Nicolas Dalby, Scroggin missed weight by three pounds and barely lasted a minute. He crumbled at the first sign of trouble, which is going to go down as the least surprising development of the night. All seven of the 28-year-old's professional fights prior to this one came on the Missouri regional scene. Scroggin is going to get another fight with the company due to his willingness to "save" this bout, but very, very little should be expected.

Will make UFC debut on short notice
WelterweightUFC
November 5, 2024
Scroggin will take on Elizeu Zaleski dos Santos in a welterweight bout at UFC Vegas 100 on Nov. 9, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Scroggin is set to make his debut with the promotion, filling in on short notice for Nicolas Dalby, who was Zaleski's originally scheduled opponent. Scroggin has a perfect MMA record right now in the FAC at 7-0, but he's stepping into the octagon against a highly experienced UFC fighter in Zaleski who already has 10 wins with the promotion.
