Ends career with defeat
BantamweightUFC
July 17, 2021
Reneau lost to Miesha Tate via TKO (strikes) at 1:53 of Round 3 at UFC on ESPN 26 on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
That will put a close to Reneau's 13-fight, six-plus-year UFC run. She finishes with a 5-7-1 record, which all things considered, isn't too darn bad, especially when you take into account she lost her last five fights. Reneau turned 44 years of age last month, and while she keeps herself in great shape, it was abundantly clear she was no longer able to fight with the same type of physicality we saw from her in the early portion of her UFC run. Reneau earned victories over both Jessica Andrade and Sara McMann, while also stepping into the octagon with the likes of Tate, Holly Holm, and Cat Zingano. Not too bad for a former California teacher.

Loses to Macy Chiasson
BantamweightUFC
March 20, 2021
Reneau lost to Macy Chiasson via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) at UFC Vegas 22 on Saturday.
ANALYSIS
The first round was very competitive in what was mainly a striking battle. Reneau landed more volume, but Chiasson's shots were more impactful. Round 2 was much more straightforward for Chiasson. She hurt Reneau multiple times during the round and ended in top position. During Round 3, it was competitive during the beginning and middle. Still, Macy secured a trip takedown that secured her top position for the rest of the round, where he landed significant damage.

Reneau announced via her Instagram that her scheduled fight against Macy Chiasson has been moved to March 20, Marcel Dorff of MMADNA reports.
ANALYSIS
The two fighters were initially supposed to meet Feb. 6 but the fight was rescheduled for three weeks later after Reneau tested positive for COVID-19. The reasoning for it being moved again is unknown but both competitors will now have to wait until March 20 before they finally meet in the Octagon.
Fight against Chiasson rescheduled
BantamweightUFC
February 3, 2021
Reneau will now take on Macy Chiasson in a bantamweight matchup at a UFC event scheduled for Feb. 27, Aaron Bronsteter of TSN.ca reports.
ANALYSIS
Reneau and Chiasson were scheduled to fight Feb. 6, but the matchup was pushed back three weeks after Reneau tested positive for COVID-19, MMAJunkie.com reports. Reneau will look to snap a recent skid after dropping her last three fights via unanimous decision. Chiasson most recently defeated Shanna Young via unanimous decision at UFC Rio Rancho in February of 2020. Chiasson has advantages in both height and reach.
Facing Macy Chiasson in February

November 13, 2020
Reneau (undisclosed) will take on Macy Chiasson in a bantamweight matchup on Feb. 6, MMAJunkie.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Reneau had been scheduled to face Ketlen Vieira in late September but withdrew due to an undisclosed injury. The problem has evidently since gone away. She's been in poor form of late, losing her last three fights by unanimous decisions. She'll be looking for her first win since February of 2018 against a fighter who owns a 4-1 record with the UFC.
