Chiasson defeated Mayra Bueno Silva via TKO (doctor's stoppage) at 1:58 of Round 2 at UFC 303 on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
It wasn't pretty, but Chiasson will certainly take it in what went off as a pick 'em fight. Macy had a really poor opening frame, absorbing far too much damage from an opponent with below-average striking. Yet, she pushed forward for an early Round 2 takedown and got to mount. Then, she blasted Bueno Silva with an elbow that immediately opened up a massive gash and eventually caused the doctor to stop the fight. It would also go on to earn her a $50,000 Performance of the Night bonus, one of four awarded on the evening.
