Still looking for first UFC win
Ibragimov lost to Danilo Marques via unanimous decision (28-29, 28-29, 27-30) at UFC 253 on Saturday in Abu Dhabi.
ANALYSIS
Now 0-4 with the company, Ibragimov came up short once again on Saturday despite entering as a -210 favorite. Ibragimov joined the UFC with an undefeated professional record but has since been knocked out, submitted and dropped a pair of decisions. He's still just 25 years old, but it's nearly impossible to envision a scenario in which he gets another shot following this latest setback.

Facing Marques in late September
Ibragimov will take on Danilo Marques at the UFC event September 26, Ag Fight reports.
ANALYSIS
Ibragimov is coming off a Round 1 loss to Roman Dolidze back in mid-July. After entering the UFC with an 8-0 record, he has now lost all three of his fights with the promotion. This is likely the last opportunity for the Light Heavyweight to prove himself with the UFC.

Still looking for first UFC win
Ibragimov lost to Roman Dolidze via TKO (strikes) at 4:15 of Round 1 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Abu Dhabi.
ANALYSIS
Ibragimov joined the UFC back in August 2019 with a perfect 8-0 record. He has lost all three of his fights since, and this was the worst setback of them all. Ibragimov was crushed with a vicious knee to the face from Dolidze and it was academic from there. The big Russian was viewed as a decent prospect upon his arrival giving his past success and youth (25 years old), but it just hasn't happened. The odds are against Ibragimov receiving a fourth opportunity with the company.

In line for Fight Island
Ibragimov is in line to face Roman Dolidze in a light heavyweight matchup July 18 on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi, Marcel Dorff of MMADNA reports.
ANALYSIS
Ibragimov is off to an 0-2 start in his UFC run, but perhaps a reset on Fight Island is just what the doctor ordered. He'll be taking on an undefeated prospect, but at just 25 years old himself, there's still a future in the sport even if he comes up short. Ibragimov has also averaged 5.23 significant strikes landed per minute and recorded three total takedowns in two UFC bouts, so there's potential to turn into a solid fantasy scorer if he's able to stick around.

Still searching for first UFC win
Ibragimov lost to Ed Herman via unanimous decision (28-29, 27-30, 27-30) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Moscow, Russia.
ANALYSIS
Considering how exhausted he was, it's nothing short of a minor miracle that Ibragimov managed to see the final bell. Ibragimov took this fight as a late-notice replacement on less than two weeks' notice, so he deserves a bit of a break. While the fact he wasn't afforded a full training camp certainly played into this result, the fact of the matter is that Ibragimov looked pretty lousy in being submitted by Da Un Jung in his UFC debut in August. The Russian had won his first eight professional bouts prior to his arrival in the UFC.
