Will fight Dawson
Solecki is slated to take on Grant Dawson at UFC 302 on June 1, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Solecki is 5-2 since entering the UFC, but he has lost two of his last three including his most recent to Drakkar Klose via a slam in Round 1. He will look to get things back on track when he squares off against Dawson, who most recently had his eight-fight winning streak snapped.

Quickly finished by Drakkar Klose
Solecki lost to Drakkar Klose via KO (slam) at 1:41 of Round 1 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Austin, Texas.
ANALYSIS
Solecki is going to be furious with this result. He scored an immediate takedown and found himself in dominant position, only to allow Klose to reverse things. Solecki went for an armbar, at which point Klose picked up him and slammed him on his head, knocking him out cold in the process. It's just the second knockout loss of Solecki's pro career and his first since July 2018, so this isn't a guy that typically has durability issues. The 30-year-old New Jersey native is 5-2 in his first seven UFC bouts, so his roster spot is plenty secure despite this setback.

Gets new fight
Solecki is slated to take on Drakkar Klose at a UFC event on Dec. 2 at an undisclosed location, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Solecki is coming off a victory over Carl Deaton via technical submission in Round 2 at UFC Fight Night in February. His record in the UFC octagon is now up to 5-1. His opponent, Klose, is riding a two-fight winning streak and boasts a 7-2 record with the company.

Strong run continues
Solecki defeated Carl Deaton via technical submission (rear-naked choke) at 4:55 of Round 2 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
Easy work. Facing a debuting opponent with a clear hole in his game, Solecki leaned on his wrestling and ground game to secure an easy victory. He needed just three takedown attempts -- two successful -- to secure 8:51 worth of control time. The finish materialized with just seconds remaining in Round 2. Solecki rarely gets talked about, but he's quietly racked up a 5-1 record in his first half dozen UFC bouts, including a pair of wins via submission. Still just 29 years of age, the New Jersey native is worth keeping an eye on at 155 pounds. He'll also take home a $50,000 Performance of the Night bonus, which was awarded to all six finishers on the evening.

Added to Vegas 70 card
Solecki will take on Carl Deaton at UFC Vegas 70 on Feb. 25, Nolan King of USA Today reports.
ANALYSIS
Solecki was slated to fight this Saturday, but the UFC was unable to find a replacement opponent. It won't be a long wait as the promotion has secured a newcomer in Deaton who holds a career 17-5 record for their Feb. 25 card.
