Booked for UFC 282
Perrin will fight Raul Rosas Jr. at UFC 282 on Dec. 10, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
After taking a loss in his last fight against Aori Qileng via unanimous decision at UFC 278, Perrin's UFC record sits at 0-2. He likely will be desperate for a win against Rosas in order to stick around much longer.

Late charge not enough
Perrin lost to Aori Qileng via unanimous decision (28-29, 28-29, 28-29) at UFC 278 on Saturday.
ANALYSIS
Statistically, Perrin won the significant striking battle 88 to 72 and recorded three takedowns to Aoriqileng's zero, but this was still the correct decision, as Aoriqileng's shots did much more damage in Rounds 1 and 2. Perrin started a bit slow and ate several big knees, which continued to be an issue for him into the second frame. On the bright side, Perrin's cardio held up, and he was able to record 48 significant strikes to his opponent's 25 to take Round 3. He even had Aoriqileng rattled with a few late flurries, but it wasn't enough to make up for the slow start. Perrin deserved this opportunity after filling in on short notice against Mario Bautista back in February, but he's now 0-2 with the UFC and finds himself in must-win territory his next time out.

Will face Aori Qileng in next bout
Perrin is scheduled to fight Aori Qileng on Aug. 20 at UFC 278, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Perrin owns a professional record of 10-5 and is coming off a loss to Mario Bautista at UFC Fight Night 201 via unanimous decision. However, he is 7-2 in his last nine bouts dating back to Sept. of 2017.

Drops decision in UFC debut
Perrin lost to Mario Bautista via unanimous decision (27-30, 27-30, 26-30) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
Stepping in for Khalid Taha (undisclosed) on roughly a week's notice, Perrin didn't show much in his UFC debut. Although he did manage to land a single takedown in each of the first two rounds, any potential productivity on the mat was negated by the fact he allowed Bautista to land four takedowns of his own throughout the course of the bout. A 28-year-old New Hampshire native, Perrin previously made an appearance on Dana White's Contender Series in August 2019, dropping a unanimous decision to Dwight Joseph. Perrin will probably receive another opportunity with the company due to his willingness to "save" this bout on short notice, but little should be expected from him moving forward.

Debuting on short notice
Perrin will make his UFC debut Saturday at the promotion's event in Las Vegas, taking on Mario Bautista in a bantamweight bout, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Perrin steps in on less than a week's notice after Khalid Taha withdrew for undisclosed reasons Sunday. He owns a 9-4 record as a professional and a 6-1 record over his last seven fights. In Bautista, he'll face an opponent who's gone 2-2 since joining the UFC in 2019.
