Set for UFC Vegas 95
Filho will face Allan Nascimento in a flyweight bout at UFC Vegas 95 on Aug. 10, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Filho owns a 2-1 record in the UFC, and he has the momentum on his side ahead of this clash since he's won his last two fights, both by submission. He also holds the edge in terms of form, as he'll face an opponent who hasn't stepped onto an octagon since 2022.

Second straight submission win
Filho defeated Ode Osbourne via submission (rear-naked choke) at 4:27 of Round 1 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
This fight appeared to be gift-wrapped for Filho given his high-level grappling skills and Osbourne's struggles in that area, and to Jafel's credit, he took full advantage of the opportunity. The Brazilian scored a pair of immediate takedowns before quickly and thoroughly tapping Osbourne out in a finish that would go on to earn him a $50,000 Performance of the Night bonus. Filho was submitted by a quality opponent in Muhammad Mokaev in his UFC debut almost exactly a year ago, but has rebounded with back-to-back victories since. He looks like solid depth for a flyweight division that needs all the help it can get moving forward.

Will take on Ode Osbourne
Filho will face Ode Osbourne in a flyweight bout at a UFC event on March 16, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Filho has gone just 1-1 at the UFC level, losing in his debut against Muhammad Mokaev and topping Daniel Barez the last time out. His pro record is a far more respectable 15-3-0, however, and at least on paper, he should be the odds-on favorite against a struggling opponent such as Osbourne.

Picks up win in London opener
Filho defeated Daniel Barez via submission (arm-triangle choke) at 3:26 of Round 1 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in London.
ANALYSIS
Filho didn't show much in a submission loss to rising star Muhammad Mokaev in his company debut this past March, but he was much better here against a more reasonable opponent. Known for his ground game, Filho was able to drag Barez to the mat following a wild striking exchange and easily improved his position to the point he was able to score the stoppage. Still just 30 years of age, Filho is worth keeping an eye on in a flyweight division that needs all the depth it can find.

Taking on Barez in London
Filho is scheduled to face Daniel Barez in a flyweight fight at the UFC's July 22 event in London, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Filho had initially committed to a bout with Juancamilo Ronderos on July 15 in Las Vegas, but the promotion opted to push his next fight back a week to a different card versus a different opponent. The 30-year-old Brazilian will head to London looking to avenge a loss to Muhammad Mokaev in March, which ended a five-fight winning streak.
