Silva put forth a strong showing and deserved to win this fight, his UFC debut, but unfortunately the vast majority of his good work inside the Octagon was negated by the fact he missed weight by 2.5 pounds Friday morning. Silva is typically known for his power, but his grappling won him this bout.
